Also, so the tach works properly?

Idle is correct and engagement is correct. I have not run across the yard yet, but even then I doubt I would be able to read peak rpm in the short distance. Need at least a little snow before I know for sure.

Thanks Monker!!
I'm gonna order one. When it comes in, I'll see if I can come up with a part # for the terminal to install in the connector. So a B+ wire can be added, for the clock to function ;)!

Bill , you could buy the gauge harness for the Nytro gauge for $17 and have 6 assembled leads when you take it apart. Just a thought.

Thats a pretty good idea, I didn't realize that harness was so cheap!
I do have a source for a huge selection of OEM terminals at work. The plan is to take the harness into work and see if any of the terminals match up. If not I'll just buy the pigtail harness.

No temp guage (I think)
Just ordered the vector EFI guage! I'm so looking forward to a tach that I can read on the fly :-o
Should be here in a couple of weeks, once it's here and I start working on the change-over. I'll report back on the terminal info.

South Seattle sports plaza $395. They are having a 30% off sale

Their prices are always 30% off. Cheapest place online as far as I know.

Mine arrived today!! It was $413 and change to my door. This thing is awsome, nice big tach!
Never thought I would get so excited about a guage. This means it will be WAY easier for me to dail in my clutching

Got'er installed and everything works as previously mentioned by Monker!
I did find a terminal that works for the B+ wire for clock memory. I work at a GM dealership and in the service dept we have a huge terminal repair kit. 25 trays of OEM terminals. Delphi part# 33467-0003 located in tray # 23. The terminal fits in the connector, however it doesn't latch internially. But if you wrap it in electrical tape to the rest of the harness it will stay put. It does have the correct pin tension to mate with the stud in the guage, for good contact. One nice thing is it will slide right into the conector with out un-latching the back.
I recommend that if you use one of these ternimals, to have the dealer attach a length of 20 guage wire to it. Since it does require a special crimping tool to attach the terminal to the wire.

Nice, is it possible to mount the Gt gauge in the orginal nytro gauge possition, will it fit there? or is it to tight for the windshield?

I think it might be to tight against the windshield. I moved mine back to clear the windshield bag.
Added bonus about moving it back is, I can use the aluminum support rod to adjust the angle a few degrees. By being able to tilt it slightly, I can adjust it to how tall I am. ;)!

nicely done.

Thanks Monker

One thing I really like about the tach, is 8500 rpms is straight up. So 8750 rpm is just a hair to the right. Very easy to see at a quick glance!
Kind of like when we used to rotate the old round tachs, so the sweet spot was straight up ;)!

But guys $400 is crazy

LOL, yeah I know! But it's got a clock:-)

I did look into aftermarket tachs, and the good ones were almost that or more. I perfer an analog tach over digital ones, and there wasn't a good aftermarket analog tach out there. That they could say for sure would work on a snowmobile in cold wet weather.

I'm a tuner type of guy with my sleds. I like to tune my own clutching, so I need to be able monitor my rpms under actual riding/racing conditions. To be able to tell if I'm over/under reving at different points through out the shift.

I was on the fence about buying one for awhile, because of the price. Finally I just dicided, it would give me the information I needed.
