Guys what is Max boost from a Bender 2 it is a GT25 i think and can i run max boost with straight 110oct and one extra head gasket added.
Is it like 15psi? or 17?

Thank you Skydog :flag: ;)!

Man, you're in deep wanting even more power. Get ready for the rush. :) I want to try that myself. I need jetting info for higher boost before I go big and I desperately need an AFR meter.

Sweet thank you!! Yea i cant wait! My air fuel gage is at about 11.0 at 12 psi so i think i should be good at 16! Will let you know!

Thank you Skydog

just be careful. my racepak read max of 18 pounds just before it blew the headgasket out. running 110 octance. aftermarket bolts and low compression pistons.

Thank you ! I think it will be close to my last trip! So if she goes i have all summer. But i think she can take it!

And then when you really want to scream let me know and Ill hook you up with my special turbo Boss Noss kit. Very simple and less expensive than even a standard twin kit. :nos

Dang bro! I think you had a bad gasket or the torque wasnt done right. I have run 22lbs and nitrous a bunch of times. 2 OEM gaskets wiseco low comps and heavy bolts and nuts.

I have wiseco 10:1 and 3 stock head gaskets. At what boost level do I need to go to heavier studs, and when do I need aftermarket rods, head work .. valves and springs? I'm planning on going with big boost at the end of season, need jetting info also.
You guys running the 16T MCXpress turob kit have any info, please share :) I will be running the 1/4 mile at 250 ft altitude.

I would agree bad gasket or not torked properly I run 20 lbs all day long and have had it up to 25lbs no problems. I would put the studs in if you are going to run over 12-14lbs just to be safe, I ran 18lbs all last year on stock motor strait 110 no problems and put rods, pistons and studs in this year.

big boost

I have been running 30 lbs with my MCX 3K rear all day long.

straight C12, low comps, rods, .076 gasket everything else stock.
no probs except holding on.

i cant ride with anything less than 20 lbs now.

cheers

Less than 20lbs!!! HAHA SICK MAN SICK!!!!
30 is a sh-t load!! Glad to here the stock head nuts are fine!

Is there really much difference? Ive heard anything over 25 is just more back pressure. Can the 3k really produce 30psi? With all due respect Im skepitcal of your claims.

Great info guys :) :D :rocks: 8)

It is possible to run more lbs of boost, but it don't necessary make more HP. The MCX 16T Turbo (in my kit) is capable of making upto 25 lbs, but according to MCXpress going any higher than 22 lbs is not going to make any more power because turbo gets ineffective past 22 lbs.

i am running 10:1 pistons. double gaskets. 110 fuel. larger studs. we are putting new gaskets in today. maybe we didn't have the torgque on the heads correct because my antifreeze was getting into the center 2 cylinders which seems kind of strange. those are usually the 2 safe ones. there were no noticable gaps in gasket. we'll try it and see what it does.
