Ontario TY Ride 2014

If you past a silver rxwarrior. With a tunnel extension to the moon(151) and winch cable hanging out under the bumper, the answer would be yes.

Couldn't have been him- Yamahas said he passed him 'on' the trail. Was the smell of Nachos with a hint of burning plastic in the air?

he fixed the burning plastic problem. nachos is a different problem.

I will admit to him being on the trail is rare enough as it is.

btw have room in the trailer and hotel if anyone wants to come with to ty fun ride this weekend. yes you do need a valid passport.

I would need a count on how many rooms we need in order to see if they have enough available for us.

Please let me know.

Maybe see how many rooms / beds they have available and what the prices are and it will be first come, first served? Based on previous years in North Bay we would need 3 or 4 rooms but Sand Lake might get more people out.

Unless we get cold and snow here again, North Bay will be our big ride of the season. Got the trailer to bring 4 sleds ;)!

If you do make to to north bay be sure to shoot me a PM.

Hello . I'm located in muskoka, what's the plan for a north bay ride in February
Or is this a private deal. Mi is just too far away and they don't have the snow we have.

Hey Ghost Rider, Edgewater park lodge is where most people seemed to want to go. I am trying to get some info from the lodge to see if they have enough room.

It is not a private ride at all, anyone and everyone is welcome.

This is what they have left:

"We have 4 motel rooms with double beds available for both the 1st and 2nd of February and 1 motel room with 1 double bed.

Hope to see you soon

Kathy"

Here are the rates, they seem pretty steep. I wonder how conditions will be there with the recent thaw.

Seems like they are almost double the rate of the hotel we stayed at in North Bay, you have to bring your own bedding and towels and they want a $200 deposit. Maybe there is a chain hotel in Huntsville that would be more reasonable? Conditions are also a big question at this point.

Do you have a district 7 Map? I am having a hard time finding a location online that clearly stated it has trail access. There are a few, but they are not cheap.

I overlaid some of the more popular hotels on the trail map. I don't think it would be too far from any of them to get on a trail, especially if the lakes are good. The 5 that are in the centre of town would probably be good if they are sled friendly. I think we have to ask about price / availability, parking for trailers, and hopefully walking access to food / drink. Is anyone on TY familiar with the area?
