ontario ty ride for 2012

So is everyone thinking north bay on family day week end?

I am open to any suggestions as a place to ride. North bay seems kind of cantral though for guys from toronto, ottawa, sudbury..

What is everyone thinking?

I don't want to limit it to North Bay. I would like to hear what other have to say and see if there is still interest.

Is everyone that posted interest in the spring still interested in a Ontario ride?

still in. i know the temiskaming run is a full days run as is the run to rockys on whanipitae. sappling killer knows where some good off trail stuff is too.

There are many many options for sledding from NB. I ride up to Temiskaming and play around in the local trails in the hills to the north of town a couble time a year. Great riding!

If we can get dates that everyone is good with and if everyone is good with North Bay I could start making calls and see about pricing and hotels we could stay at.

If you are interested post up how many people/rooms you would be looking at and I can try to get some prices for you guys.

A bit of a drive from where I am and with two trailers but should be doable. Are we still talking about the Family weekend holiday? The first Monday of Feb?

And if someone needs a ride, I will have a spare spot on one of my trailers since we only have 3 machines.

Hey Mooseman, if you have an extra trailer for just the one sled I could put in the the back of my truck. I have a 2 place (open) trailer and a truck bed I could put a sled in.

All we need to do now I think is decide when as everyone seems to be ok with North Bay. Then decide where to stay.

Anyone from North Bay or that goes to North Bay to ride a lot have any suggestion on where to stay?

There is a ton of places to stay in and around northbay.
I'll check with the lodge by my camp and see if they are available that weekend.
Maybe we could book the whole lodge. They have very reasonable rates.

Wherever we go, they would have to be able to accomodate all the trucks and trailers. What we need are numbers. I'll start. We will be 4 riders on 3 sleds. 1 suv with double trailer. May have second vehicle with double trailer if needed. 1 room with two beds, preferably queens
