I bought mine when they first came out, but my sled ran so well stock that I did not install it last year. I have been tinkering with my sled since August, so I finally installed it last week, and I could not believe how small adjustments made obvious changes in how the belt rode in the secondary, and how it engaged. After I put it on and adjusted it (hopefully the right way), I backed it onto my trailer, and the clutch engagement was "buttery" smooth. I cannot wait to get it on the snow to see how it will actually work.

Put mine on the other day with a new 8dn belt ( with the 3 bolts taken out on back side) and noticed that I don't not have much adjustment left over for when the belt wears.
The top of the belt is setting approx. .020 below the top of the secondary and the adjuster is approx. 1/4 turn for the secondary sheeves closed all the way. Also, the deflection appears to be really loose to. Just wondering if other guys are seeing the same ? Is this normal?

Well at least you guys don't have Obama care!!!!!! Besides last time I checked your toilets were pretty cheap
Yeah, it's terrible isn't it. Being able to purchase health insurance at an affordable price without a huge deductible.

Is there a need for one if your secondary is machined for 8dn belt ???
Yes. It will still allow easier fine adjustment of the belt deflection with added benefit of you would be able to run a very worn 8DN belt.Is there a need for one if your secondary is machined for 8dn belt ???

I apologize if I missed the announcement. Lots of pages here.just so you guys know I have not made a deeper cup yet I still have cups left when I get back them I will make them deeper. these are awesome addition to your sled, you can remove your belt but it is tight... as soon as I get the new cups made I will let you know... the plastic is expensive thanks everyone..
Jim
Do all, of the currently available adjusters, have the deeper cup now?

Dont know what I am doing wrong. 2016 LTX with Thunder Products Venom kit. Put the new spring in back clutch, put the OSP belt adjuster on, tightened bolt, then TRIED to put belt on. This is where things stopped. The adjuster with the Allen head will not thread in, sheaves will not open at all. First tried by hand, then tried with Allen wrench as shown in video. Did not want to wreck anything so stopped and took everything back off. The back clutch will not spin at all in counter spinning as to open to put belt on. Tried putting it on bench and pushing helix to help spin, no go. Yes the 3 stock bolts are out of the back.

You must have put the secondary back together incorrectly after installing the new spring if you do not pre load the spring by rotating the sheaves onto the helix it is locked and will not open.

you rotate the sheaves in the same direction of the spring wind to the next set of holes that line up for the bolts. careful you do not want to unwind the spring,

Could have sworn I spun it to the next set of studs on the helix towers. When I first put it back together, I spun the sheaves like always just to see how much wind pressure there is, seemed like quite a bit as the sheaves snapped back pretty quick, now they wont spin at all. Going to mess with again now. Will report back.
