OK, still dont know what was up, but I took the helix nuts off, reindexed the spring, put it back, now works normal. Engagement is at 3500 rpm, Gates 8dn belt rides about .125 above top of sheave, track ALMOST wants to creep on the stand, hopefully it will after break in. Guess theres nothing to do now but wait.
Crap now you need something else to keep you occupied till the snow flies

Is that threaded part WAY longer ? Or am I seeing things.

yes new parts are theaded about .280 longer and the new cups are about .220 deaper
How much for just those parts? Would like to update mine.

Don't know they were changing them at that time or would of waited. I just hope it work the way it suppose to or well not be happy about it.

I think the only reason for making it longer is so it will open up the clutch more threaded all the way in making changing your belt easier everything else will operate the same.
