Yeah, getting depressing in Minnesota for sure, if we don't get some here soon, I may have to head to Houghton again.

Please forgive me for being reckless with my thoughts, in regards to chasing snow. I know how hard this is to be so loyal to this sport and it's paying back less & less dividends.
My time grows shorter and shorter to continue on this journey. And all the weather does is throw us the old "sucker punch"
My hopes for everyone involved, is this whole thing turns around.

75 inches just north and west of Utica NY, normal area I ride when none home, an hour away. Massive snow from the lake. Havent been up there yet. Looks like a real mess on Penn mtn club site!! But a good mess! Camden Ford dealer gave up cleaning the trucks off saturday. Hope it stays!

I have a lake effect band on snow stuck over my house. At least 5 inches of snow already today. Last weekend it was grass. This should help with base so I don't have to trailer 25 miles down the road to ride....

Thats always good. I finished our signs and groomed mud last week with one of the swt skandics. Ground is white here but not enough. Had a lot Thanksgiving, rode some local, trails not open yet...hunting season, buried the one swt and slipped off the runningboard onto my shoulder! I can still ride but it hurts..winder seems good with BOP swaybar. but...Gettin old...lolI have a lake effect band on snow stuck over my house. At least 5 inches of snow already today. Think Snow, Think of your best memory on the snow.. Think of the feeling you had during that best memory.. Think of being grateful for your future memories. In your mind feel what it was like to get on your sled and ride it.. Picture that smile on your face from ear to ear.. Your thoughts, your beliefs, your emotions shape your reality .. Each one of us can change our attitude by seeing our wishes fulfilled. Positive thoughts and positive actions bring positive results along with time, money and a good snowmobile trailers.. Lol.. Let it snow.. Let it snow…..

Simple speed, I'm a huge fan of that thought process. You become impenetrable to most situations. Always looking forward.....Think Snow, Think of your best memory on the snow.. This is the most like a typical winter that I have seen in years. January starts out cold and the weather is fairly quiet and everyone on the forum gets really grumpy and antsy for snow. Then as the days get longer the weather the weather becomes more unsettled and you start to have clippers and lake effect and we are happy again. I am still hopeful that this winter will turn out some good riding days, the good thing is my lake is all set up and the ground is frozen hard, so if we do get snow it will stay and add up. Last year I never even went on lake. Hoping for a few inches this weekend and to be able to go out for a ride. Fingers crossed.

I believe each one of us have the ability to do exactly what we desire if we set our minds to it.. If your not getting the pleasure out of your situation then change that situation. And if you need to relocate either temporarily or permanently then just do it and make yourself happy. Life is short so do enjoy at your maximum ability. Thats all I was getting at…Simple speed, I'm a huge fan of that thought process. You become impenetrable to most situations. Always looking forward.....

As soon as I dropped (2pm) in wetmore the skies opened up to spitting ice rain.
Next morning, same thing until 3pm.
Managed 180 miles.

Tim (N1C2000) & I couldn't manage a ride, as my phone service was spotty
Doc i went out the day before you got here and spent some time tuning clutches.
Got it working pretty good!
It was ready just in case you wanted to burn that carbon out of your sled!
Next time your in the area look me up and I'll get out on the trails with ya.
