Who runs PCIII (with ignition box) instead of GEMS DOBBECK box on their MPI Supercharged Apex ??? Anyone have problems with that fuel and timing controller ?
I want to try it with a Stage 2 ;we run between 12-15 psi at sea-level..........(head shim 10:1, studs, rods, bigger fuel pump and 1 to 1 FPR with OEM injectors).

NOt to hyjack here, but I have a PCIII usb on my apex now, but when I add my MPI, what other box do I need? I have a boondocker controller that has had the current map installed, and it has a boost reference port. Which one??

I'm not sure here, but don't think you can use the PCIII due to this box has no way of detecting boost? I inquired on this set up a few seasons ago when I first installed my blower.

PCIII only are not meant to run with boost because you can only adjust fuel according to your TPS. In order for a fuel map to be effective, it has to be adjusted according to pressure (MAP sensor).
What I mean is that when your throttle is at 25% for example, it can be at 25% when you are cruising (maintaining your speed) or it can be at 25% under load (starting from a dead stop) and those two conditions do not demand the same timing and fuel trims.
Fortunately, Dynojet sells the MULTI-FUNCTION HUB which allows you to create a map according to boost which is the only real way to do it.
I wish everyone on this site a great year!!!!....and more snow than we have here!!!!

Pc3 CAN BE used with boost without multi hub...
Just like an rb3....
Remember, RB3 is juste like the PC3 by itself, (vmin and vmax being the tps range....)
only thing, is instead of the tps hooked to tps input signal to PC3, it would be a 2 or 3 bar map sensor and the 'tps range' would be the equivalent to rb3's vmin and vmax.
if I had to to it using pc3 tha tis how I would do it.
