About 20 miles into the ride and after a few stops and restarts along the way, the phazer quit dead about 30 seconds after taking off. My son was driving and he mentioned the engine just quit. The pod display is blank and the starter doesn't turn, not even any clicking or fuel pump noise. And yes, the kill switch was up.
I jiggled and wiggled all the relays and electrical looking stuff under the right side cover with no luck. There was a little snow dust in there, could snow have melted and frozen during our 5 minute stop to cause this problem? Any help is appreciated.
I did have the ground wire upgrade done about two rides ago, could this be related?
Oh, I did try a search here but with 16,000 odd results, I gave up after the first hour.

You must've lost electrical/battery power i'd think? I'd bet when the dealer had it too.
That's it, blame the dealer!

I just saw this as a post to a fix for a similar problem: The negative terminal inside the battery had dislodged and the battery was garbage. Try swapping with a different sled see if it is the battery or not.

I'll check the ground terminal and see if I get any voltage from the battery. I did take a couple rides after the dealer changed the ground wire harness so I'm hoping it is not related. I'll also have to find out exactly which ground wire harness was changed.
Thanks for the help!

Haha, thanks. Worst thing is, I had to tow it back to the road using the Polaris. Then to top off my luck, on the way to trailer it home, my van's rear side window blew out. As things always happen in threes, the trailer's hitch got jammed and would't pull off the ball when I got home. Oh well, enough bitching and back to work, I'm glad it's only -24C (-11F) outside.

Dealer found a broken and shorting wire in the main harness under the airbox. I'll have to find out if the new ground strip install may have been the culprit 'cause it only started shorting out after that work was done.
