I have been really interested in the Phazer, but some things have cought my eye. First is the exposed swaybar. I would bet there will be many who will become unintentionally dismounted from their sled when that sangs on something.
The other thing is I would like to see the availability of an aftermarket 1.25 ripsaw for it. I see a potential for loose snow traction issues.

ground clearance is good enough to not have issues. actually the track did really well when i rob it. just needs to be studded when i get one as all the ice i hit it old forge made it unsafe on any sled.

Indy, check out some frontal pics of the phazer on the Yammi website and you will see what I mean.
I still think that the swaybar will hook something when you take the sled off trail or when the front suspension compresses. Just my humble opinion.
Thanks

Matt the specs seem all wrong as two models show Ripsaw and one shows Hacksaw, the Mountain shows a deep paddle.

The Phazer and Phazer FX have a 14" x 121"x 1" Ripsaw track on it. The Phazer GT has a 14" x 121" x 1" Hacksaw track on it.

An other problem I see, is that with the radiator where it is, in deep powder I would think it could get plugged, or at least very restricted. Also, with all of talk of the rear having a lot of bounce back, what about the mountain version with the longer track. I don't see the sway bar being a problem, at least no differant than the RX1 or Attac is now.

Yeah the sway bar is basically in the same place as current models...

What is the difference between the ripsaw and the hacksaw.

My point is the swaybar is completely exposed unlike an apex/attak/rx1 or vector

all the sleds will have a sway bar except the mountain. The standard and FX bar is different from the GT.

I noticed the FX swaybar. Go to the yamaha site, it shows a frontal view of the sled and you can see the EXPOSED swaybar.

I assume you mean this picture and the swaybar links. The pic itself is deceiving, and it doesn't hang down as far as it seems when looking at it in person. The links attaching it to the a-arms are similar to those on the RXs. Where it crosses up under the frame may be an issue, but a skid place would take care of that and prevent anything from snagging on it. I don't think the skid plate on my RX has any marks on it and the phazer sits up higher.
It certainly is something to be aware of while riding though. I think I'd be more cautious of catching something up in the nose are when riding off trail though.
The 1" track with 96 studs will work great on the trail I think. The ripsaw lugs seem a little flimsy though. I know tracks usa has a 1.5x14x121 listed that would be good for loose snow or off trail. A 15" track is going to be an awful tight fit.
