Just thought I would post some pics of the new lights I put on the Nytro, First is some LED underglow with blue LEDS in the headlight also, second are some rigid industries dually's and third are 8000k HIDS. Sorry there aren't more pics but this was day two and about 3 am so I just really wanted to get home!

Don't know how you mounted the underglows, but my buddies' all ripped off when chunks of ice started falling off.... they looked great for a few miles.

You will HATE the 8k's at night. I pulled mine and installed 6k, much better.

Why will he hate the 8Ks? I was thinking about getting the 10Ks... ;)!

Yep, real cool color being blue and all, just suck for visibility. Very hard to see at night. I have 4 vehicles and 2 sleds all with HID's and I can tell you that 5600 are the best, but you can usually only find 6k.

Good luck!

Dave

I just went on You-Tube to look at a comparison, and the 10K and 6K are much brighter than the 8K. Why is that?

I have two vehicles with 8000k and am quite happy with them, may not be the brightest but definitely my favorite color and still a huge improvement over stock. Besides I let those little rigid industries lights help out quite a bit, they are unbelievably bright.

Where did you mount the lights and are they still on?

LEDs are coming but I'm concerned about lack of heat and the resulting icing....anyone have any practical experience?
