I was installing my Pilots last night. I trimmed the 2" off the backside of the rubber. However, could not get the bolt through. I even warmed the rubbed a while. I got the bolt in the outside and with the sled on the ground, still needed like a 1/4" on the inside. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes.. Get the outside started.... Then on the inside...locate hole with a thinner rod or screwdriver .. Put a block of wood under that inside edge and use the sleds weight....
Or I have a trigger clamp when on my stand. I clamp that inside edge on the bottom and say an a arm and squeeze trigger into position..

Soaked the rubber in hot water and placed a 2x4 under the inside edge and used the weight of the sled. Worked like a charm! Thanks.

I’m
Ready now!! I tried curves on my viper turbo way to heavy steering. Then I just tried new c&a. Xpt s this weekend. The steering is just too heavy. I have preload backed off to nothing and still heavy steer. Can’t stand it. Love this sled but I must fix steering . I’m

Hey bud. What about going to your local dealer? Wish I was closer. I hate tackling stuff I don't understand.

Did you try slim jims on your Curves ? They seem to help some people to lighten up the steering feel.I don’t have any dealers.
