WOW what a great idea. I never thought of that myself. I guess if you feel they are too long and you might like something that will turn quicker you can use a miter saw and cut few inches off the back of the ski. We can all make custom skis just the way we want them using nothing more that our table and miter saws.In a pinch if you find you dislike the 6.9 cause they push too much, you could run them through a table saw and voila make them close to the 5.7. The profile would be off a little but if they were going in the trash, it may be worth a try. That's all I have folks.

I thought of it first ! Wait...I was referring to the inside edge only, not length... you beat me there.

Why ,Because the 6.9" are wide and when you turn the outside ski runners is further away from being able to dig and help steer the ski .8" in the center is too heavy i feel ,6 and 4 work perfect .

I have 7.5 shapers in the center and 5" outside and my sled steers great. The shapers might be a bit much for the delicate male but for guys with hair on their chest they are perfect. Why ,Because the 6.9" are wide and when you turn the outside ski runners is further away from being able to dig and help steer the ski .8" in the center is too heavy i feel ,6 and 4 work perfect .

how about hair on the back and a very pronounced forehead?

Ken, if you have blocks completely out, any damage to wheels? Or did you put something in place?

Ive seen some where the pads get smacked up pretty good metal against metal..would be nice to have a bit of rubber there...also...what sucks is when you want to close up the gap for corner to corner riding..now you wish you had something there...thats why I like the racewerx block
