Grease is thick there because I added a grease fitting to spindle after wearing the aluminum sleeve out in about 3000mi.
Same ones that came on my 14 Viper and I know same as 13 TurboCat and 13 RR.Cannondale, do you have the part #'s? I will get a set on order.
They do fit the pocket but end up poking out back like in pic after use. They arent going anywhere though and like you observed put ski at perfect angle. Carbides wear nice and even.Looks like your rubber is sitting on the top,of the cross, ribs of the pocket! That would lower that back end of the ski and the rubber would be supported. In other words the front of the rubber is in the pocket correct but the back is not quite in the pocket hence no need to shim. IMO

Hey Dan,I wish I was closer I would gladly install them for you. They can be a bitch if not familiar with it.
I would also have you check the upper steering post clamp/bushing. Some of these sleds got over tightened there and that can heavy up the steering immensely. To check that, simply get the front up off ground and turn bars full left to right, they should be very free feeling. If they feel heavy at all, then that upper steering post clamp is too tight.
For the skis, throw the rubbers in very hot bucket of water right before install, it helps a ton.
Dan
Checked my steering and found it tight as you suggested. Is the clamp easy to get to? Do covers have to come off? Thanks as I am not much of a mechanic, but if pointed in the right direction I should be able to adjust it.

But not a 13 viper or 14 TurboCat and 14RR
Right or no?

Right. And I believe the 14 Turbocat and 14RR would also work. I just never tried them.14 Viper and 13 TurboCat and 13 RR.

Yes just pop hood off, the main clamp is just below where it exits hood near vent or goggle bag.Hey Dan,

Some are over tightened, put front of sled off ground to check if yours moves easily without weight on skis.
