I got it on VHS tape. I'm gonna try to put it on DVD and make some copies of it. That was cool as hell!

That was a great show..But like it was asked before whats going on a almost stock Vmax 4 can keep that close to a Apex with nos ?????? It was good racing and both teams showed great sportmanship, but then again they are sledders why wouldn't they???

I don't know if people missed the part about the Vmax4 having pipes or not. And he didn't run with him, he was defeated heads up. Tyler did a great job, but Terry spotted him lengths in each race. I think the whole episode was good for sleds though. Showed people you CAN race relatively cheap with an older sled. Or take your stock Apex/Attak and do a little work and run with that. By the way, with pipes and proper tuning, the Vmax4 is around 165-170 hp. Still impressive for 10 yr. old technology.

Apex stock, (assuming Terry's internals are stock) is 150 HP + 100 shot N20 = 250 HP


As viper_dave stated piped V-Max 165-170 HP

A 80-90 horse advantage, Terry would have had to spot Tyler 15 lengths or more.

A 1050 Hooper kit & maybe a little sniff of the bottle sounds more like it to me.

Yep, they didn't really say what that Vmax had in it, or did I miss that part. That thing was right in there. I know that Terry is good off the lights, it would have been interesting to see this in real bracket racing where you can see the driver's reaction times, that's where the race is usually won!!!
