PINKS asphalt sled drags on Wednesday night!

Since I know all of you that were on the show, its was real dorky.....LOL, Terry could at least had a Totallyamaha hat on...., I was being punished. By the way Tyler (Team Hardcore), thanks for the TY Spot on the sled.....LOL, I just had to poke fun a little since I didnt get to be there with you guys. I really feel you did a great thing representing our sport and it really didnt matter if it had anything to do with Totallyamaha.

All in all it was a great show, Great Job Terry, you looked like a Pro :)!

Best part of the show it was all YAMAHA

I tivo-ed it. No problem to put on disc, you guys just gotta help my wife get into the 120 zone on the SRX and not crash.(hard)hehe.
Let me know who needs a copy and I'll ask her nicely.
Kole

Your always going to get armchair critics I am waiting for someone to say it was a fixed event by Yamaha to endorse the 4 strokes. LOL

I was just talking to Terry, He aksed me to ask everyone to email the show and ask for more snowmobile action on PINKS. Terry said that the producers of the show dont want to do ANY sled shows because there isnt enough interest in them. We have to change their minds and ask for more sled shows. Have all your friends send email requesting more sled shows to: info@pullin.tv rich@richchristensen.com;

I liked the 95HP Apex and 120HP 800...right!

They did say that the Apex was coming on strong at the end, so I'm thinking that the short distance is key as far as keeping these sleds "comparable."

And yeah? What kind of pipes are used to tally a 10 year old sled to $12k?

Yea everyone already knows about the MISTAKES that the show made in describing the sleds. They have been pointed out time and time again. Some of you guys have to remember, WE didnt have ANY input as to what was shown in the finnished program. The show made some mistakes, yes. Lets move on. If you like the show say so, if you didnt like it, we are sorry we couldnt live up to your expectations. If you think you can do better, go for it.
Right now the problem is that the producers of the show didnt wnat to do it and dont want to do another one like it. Everyone has to email the show producers and Rich requesting more shows like it. If we dont do this then Terry and Tyler did this all for nothing. If any of youwatch the show a lot, you must have noticed that NAPA is a new sponsor this season. Every winner for this new season was presented with a tool box from NAPA worth about $7000. Terry was not offered this because the producers wanted to trash the show. They thought it was a waste of time. Rich was the one who pushed for the show. So, lets give the show some good feedback so MAYBE they will change their mind and do some more like it. It was nice that it was 2 Yamaha's racing but lets try to see some Yamahas beating some Doos, Cats, and Poos. I think we all would like to see THAT!!! Come on guys, send those emails to: info@pullin.tv rich@richchristensen.com If we dont do it no one else will. :flag:

The mistakes are what makes the show a joke. How do you think it looks to people outside of sledding to see those numbers - they must all be scratching their heads.

Pinks was a good idea butchered. You guys did good - they screwed it up.

Did you ever think that they made the mistakes on purpose? Or maybe they just dont have a clue about snowmobiles. Anyone who knows anything about snowmobiles may have caught the mistakes but it didnt detract from the show. It just made you think and say HUH who are they trying to kid.
I personally, think that the ladies that go around asking the drivers/ owners didnt have a clue about snowmobiles and that is why there were mistakes made. Thats why we need to have a few more shows. I think most guys would like to see Cats against Poos or Yamahas against Doos. That is where the show will become very popular among sledders. There are a lot of "OtherBrand" riders/owners who may feel left out because the show was 2 Yamahas. Right now we need all sleders, no matter what they ride to jump on this band wagon and try to get more shows made. Of course this is just my opinion... :flag: :-o

Sorry Dude, I'm ribbing the show for their mistakes. Everyone here knows we wouldn't have misquoted anything by THAT much. Too bad the micro-managing producers don't let you participants "proof read" a copy before going on the air.

Wish they would have posted the times and speeds in that 1/4mile. I'm thinking a lot of people would be impressed. Not to mention when you consider that both sleds were within milliseconds of each other.

Heck...how about sled vs car for that matter?

Letters sent.

John, you are missing the point of the show. It is set up like street racing except it is done on a race track. In a street race, you dont have timing lights or speed traps. :flag: Also in a street race you negociate to make it a more favorable race for you. ;)!
