Pro Rmk front on Nytro...

Ovr4d: im following pretty much every nytro/apex/iq/ tube chassi build on the forums so im familiar with the build pics you posted.
Edge Performance:s forty one thirty is a nice one too.

Beeze : exactly what im going to do. Wood is lightweight i might just use it permanent :)

Well not much time on the project but i have added some parts to the collection.2012 Assault spindles , WE needle piggy back shocks. And a-arms. To bad that the lower arms where crocked.
Need to get some straigth ones to make a jigg to repair my a-arms, both the pro and assault ones.
Need the steering rods too.

A couple of more parts added.
Assault steering rods, REV steering column, Vmax coolant filler with cap.

Started on some wood adapterplates, when finished i will talk to a friend with CNC mill how to make them as strong and light as possible.
The REV steering column seems to look like it could work pretty gooddid a rough mock up but the final position will be figured out with engine in place.

Looks like good clearance over enging for future plenum.

The upper steering plastic just wedged in to hold in place.

Mad paint skills to show the linkage, will probably be mounted on the other side of the tube to get even more upright steering.

Added som more parts to the collection.
Summit X tunnelcooler and a short Lynx PPS rear skid (no shocks).
Before you throw me out of the Mountain Talk.. im thinking of having a short and a long setup instead of making a crossover.
The tunnelcooler will be shortened to a shortie tunnel lenght and a bolt on extension will be made for the long track option.
All the brands are now represented in my build

Looking good man.

Made e few custom things in my time and steering is always the PITA! Go 100% standard or adjustable as possible. It may change your design, but do it. If not, you gotta understand all kinds of thing I have never been willing to learn.

Took apart the remains of the Pro-tunnel and removed the rivets from the Summit cooler.
The Pro-coolers and Summit-cooler together is almost the same as the Nytro tunnel so i had to try it in place.
my plan is to use the Pro-cooler as W2A cooler but thats a way later project.

Yesterday i talked to my friend with the CNC we have together decided how the adapterplates are going to be made, but they will have low priority so it may take a while before they are done.
And today i got hold of a beat up short track to have something to use to mount the PPS skid.

Started on the upper mountings. And had to do a mock up :)
My internet is down at home so i will do a better update when its back.

thats awesome, nice thinking outside the box. Maybe you said this but what are you doing for plastic?

Thanks !
Not sure on the side plastic. The lower Pro plastic seems to fit pretty well but the clutch area seems to far forward. I really like the loks of a mesh hood.

Thanks Kennyspec.

I have been thinking a bit more about the plastic and the Pro plastic looks like a good option.
