Pro Rmk front on Nytro...

Mike : i forgot to take the measurement i will do it tomorrow.
Today i riveted the sheets to the tunnel and cut the cooler to right lenght, tomorrow i will weld it and mount it.
guided the hole saw with a broken Wood shelf to avoid the center drill.

Mike : my tunnel is 275mm at the front, you probably could go as low as 240 mm.

I have catch a cold and have fever so i didnt get anything done yesterday, and today i threw down a bucket of painkillers and got the cooler welded but now im ready to drop dead.

Did a pressure test with a piece of hose that i drilled a hole for the blow gun, then i used soapy water and found some leaks that i rewelded.

Hope your feeling better. Sucks to have a cold/flu in summer.

Stock tunnel is approximately 340mm up front and you are at 275, so that alone will lower CG alot, and at 240mm, that would be 100mm lower (or 4"). I'm willing to bet it will handle very differently with all this fuel weight way closer to the ground.

Very cool.

the design of the REV gas tank will also make a huge difference in the distribution of the fuel weight.

The cooler is mounted to the tunnel, i reused the foam stuff from the Pro cooler and mounted the rear pyramid and rear bolt for the gas tank.

Welded the REV attatchments to the Pro tubes, And added a black nose plastic and a Pro bumper to the Collection of parts.
it looks like the front REV Pyramid parts will fit as a middle pyramid support.

Removed some brackets from the rear pyramid and mocked up the steering , i need to play around with the position to see where its going to be mounted.

Startin' to look like a sled Sportser ;)! I like the idea of using the rev tank, but what are you going to use for a fuel pump?

I have not decided what pump to use, the stock Nytro would do just fine but i dont know if it will fit or if it will be easily modified i may have to use a external pump.
But there will be multiple pickups due to the large "footprint" of the tank.
i am waiting for the bearing retainers for the drive shaft, when they arrive i probably will be mocking up the Lynx skid and have a real Rolling chassi.
Im looking at some fiberglass hood and side panels they would be really good since i probably need to modify them a bit.
the Burandt Powder trac boards probably is on my list too.

Started on a template for the tunnel ending on the shortie, it will be bolted for easy removal to mount the tunnel extension.

Made the end plate for the shortie tunnel, i dont have a sheet metal brake so its not perfect and i did some hammer work around the cooler to cover as much as possible of the hole.
Im thinking of using the Ski doo rear light plastic/flap holder so it will be hidden anyways.

Yesterday did we hit 110 degrees here by the pool... and i found myself thinking about the snowmobile build.. maybe i should get some professional help :)
I'm in the same spot. Lol

Double that.. :sled1:

Good build by the way, thumbs up!

Trying out some seat height and handlebar positions.
I have to figure out where to continue now. There are things that must be done before i can move on to the next thing thats waiting for the next thing.. sort of :)
