Looking to buy a two-up seat for my 2014 vector LTX. I went on the Dennis Kirk site and they have a seat as a possible fit for a seat Jack. Has anyone had any luck mounting on a2014 in the book they show a fit for a 2012 Vector LTX or is there another manufacturer of a seat in the 300 to $400 range for my model. Was there that much difference between a 2012 and a 2014 Vector LTX that would cause a seat Jack not to work?
2012 and 2014 are the same as far as seat and chassis goes

Thank you very much I just found it strange that it would fit a 2012 but on a 2014 it was a possible fit according to Dennis Kirk2012 and 2014 are the same as far as seat and chassis goes
Maybe Captain Kirk has not updates his website

I wouldn't do it. I had a seat jack on my Attack with a 136" track. My wife weights about 110. Having a seat jack with her on the back changed how the sled rode, and NOT for the better. I felt it was downright dangerous for trail riding, way too top heavy. If you want to take a passenger, I'd say trade your sled for one of these:
Yup. Riding double with a sled that is built for a single rider is not the best but it does work. I preferred my passenger ( when I double) sitting on the seat with me.
Again not ideal but it works. The Seat Jack would be better for the passenger as it holds them in place but does change the c of g of the sled.
The bonus of the Seat Jack is that it can be used as a luggage rack when not carrying a passenger.
