Install YAM OEM or GSE EPS? ... Joe as discussed, rather go with OEM EPS if I can (if available, etc). I also wonder if GSE EPS will move in price once OEM EPS is available. However in the GSE corner, there are instructions/video on how to install GSE EPS which is a benefit for summer DIY GSE EPS installers. I also wonder what a 2020 STX OEM/GSE EPS additional cost is compared to a spring order for a 2022 STX w/ EPS.

I didn't know there was a video on installing the GSE EPS, I looked for one but never found it. I had the dealer install it, he has the knowledge, tools etc. to do the job right...I trust the dealer I use without hesitation, he has always been there with excellent work and advise.
Tomorrow we will know the story with what kind of EPS Yamaha is coming out with and I'm sure you will be able to retro fit into your sled. Now what's the cost of the Yamaha unit?!! Joe

I have a 2017 Viper STX 146 with Hurricane 190 and 14 engine. Been very happy with the way it handles on trail compared to my 2014 viper ltx. I needed the option of putting on the extra seat for my kids. And still want to ride hard on guys weekend. Does everything I ask it to do. Power steering would be a plus down the road but I have no problem putting a 250 mile day on it without eps. Even got 1 380 mile day in last year. Fuel was handy that day!
