SHOOT-OUT Results. APEX WINS< Loweset ET.

Wonder why the F7 did not run in that class. It usually does well against the ZR 900.

What exactly do you suppose they did to the dealer prep apex to get a better time?

guys i was on the back of a truck and i seen both these sleds have trouble out of the gate at the shootout,to be honest i dont think bigmoose did a dam thing to the apex after dealer prep, first run afetr dealer prep i watched the apex spin out of the gate and ran a 12.7(box stock it ran 12.6) then the 2 dealer run it ran a 12.46.....bender had a stage 2 turbo RTX pump gas 200hp,holyshit hang on!!!!!......dealer prep 1st run for the mach was 99mph,then it broke 100 2nd run.....the mighty mach has been dethrowned,....that rtx looked fast going down the track

The apex looked strong at the shootout. It will only get stronger with mileage. The mach looked pitiful for a 170 horse sled. Yes it did spin alot at the line but so did the apex.In the machs defense it was running a 1inch track. It might have had a quicker et with the 1.25 track at the expense of some speed on the big end.It was really amazing how all the sleds were so close.

Who would have thought this 4 years ago when the RX-1 came out. Does this put to rest the comments about our 4-stroke making a good 600 class sled :4STroke:

The doo boys are running with their tails between there legs! lol

They are still busy making excuses for the embaressing loss.

I thought 4-strokes were heavy and slow and couldn’t run with the 600s?
Good job Yamaha

I want to see the Mach Z and Rev 600 HO race 500-660' in ISR legal stock class. I think Doo marketing would self destruct. :drink:

Dano, GOOD ONE, LMAO.

500' is different Dano...The Rev HO works ok but the MZ is slower then the Rev 8. The Apex won't run with a factory Rev 8 or a factory F7. If you look at the guys that don't have factory support or the F7's without ignition boxes the Apex holds its own. ISR factory stock isn't the same as dealer stock...except for the Apex lol.

What do you mean by factory? Stock for stock? So what you are saying is a stock Apex will not hold it's own against a stock REV 800? please clarify you statement....

GUYS, THANK GOD FOR JIM AT DYNO TECH !! IF HE DOSE NOT CATCH THAT HOT ICU SKIDOO SENT, THE MACH MAKES A JOKE OUT OF THIS SHOOTOUT. THE HP WAS UNREAL WITH THAT BOX ON THE MACH WHEN DYNOED !! 3:16 (tony)
