Thanks!They were all studded.
I definitely know the 3 cats were.
Cooks Recreation posted this photo a couple days before the shootout.
Looks like the T-cat and the ZR8000 both had 196 and the ZR6000 Ltd had 144

The Mach is only 30 lbs lighter and the thundercat has eps. So much for big heavy cat.

The only thing that this early season NY Shoot-Out seems to be good for is to stir the pot every year for the keyboard racers.
I'd like to know how many grudge races held later this season between the real heavy hitter turbo 4-stroke sleds in REAL WORLD conditions for a total distance of 660 feet? My guess is not too many.
The buyers of these sleds want to know who's got the real hard earned bragging rights for the longest legs in a realistic distance.

I have yet to hear an explantion on why they were losing mph between the 500' and 660' marks. The 2 strokes were also.

Does anyone really care about this "shootout"?
Absolutely no real-world info to be gained here.
It looks like attendance was pretty poor.

Looks like the same dude that was riding the Mach Z in all of their promo pics last spring. I'm pretty sure that the driver at the shoot-out was just trying to look the same as the rest of the Ski Doo sheep and be a photo heroJust viewed some of the
videos.... What's up with the racing position with buddy on the Mach Z ..... No way to get a good time like that.... Probably a normal Doo position..... Lol

I didn't understand why he was hanging off the back the way he was, but I do know he is one of the fastest drivers in the snow outlaws. Not riding like that tho...lolLooks like the same dude that was riding the Mach Z in all of their promo pics last spring. It seems about 90% of the time this shootout takes place on dirt and warm conditions. Neither of which anyone rides their sleds. Maybe they need to move this up to Canada or the UP of Michigan where the snow chances are much higher?Does anyone really care about this "shootout"?
