My dealer let me take out a demo 137 L-TX DX today. No setup but it was studded . Sled was super smooth, stable and quiet. It rode nice and handled good in the small trails around here. Also blasted down our 31 mile lake with 6 inches of new powder on it. I have ridden many sleds in my lifetime and I have to say the Sidewinder is a jewel. Only complaint was the seat was a little hard. I shouldn't have taken it out for a ride because now I need to buy one!!

I bought one without ever trying it. That was a stupid move then and I still can't believe I did that. Lucky for me it was everything I had hoped it would be. Now I'm thinking I was pretty smart.

now , now, no complaining on this forum about the sidewinder.I mentioned the seat in my report after my demo ride and they ripped me a new one on this forum. 100 to 105 mph on a stock sidewinder at the north bay radar runs. wow thats great, I have never seen that kind of speed on my apex!

I bought into all the hype, without ever riding , and have not been disappointed , to say the least.
When I totalled my original Apex GT, I tried the viper , and hated almost everything about it.
So I kept my new Apex 2015 XTX , just in case , and now I have a dearly loved sled that is feeling very neglected.
Atleast I am keeping it in heated storage , while it waits for a chance to make someone smile again.
The seat softens up , and you will love the position , as I do , and I had the WRP seat on my Apex before this.
I dont believe the DX has the same premo shock package as the LTX LE , and if you can try that set up , as it is amazing !

I have an LE with the QS3 shocks and love it.

I got to demo ride a few of them up at Pat's in the UP of Michigan. I think my buddy is going to get one. He really liked the 141 the best. The uncoupled skid transfers better but not too much plus you get the deeper track with it. He currently owns a 2006 Attak with and MPI supercharger, C&A powder skis and a nailed up Cobra track. Other sled is a 2011 Apex xtx with a 1.5" track, Pro Line clutching and Simmons flex skis. The xtx rides a bit better so he's thinking of selling MPI charged one, though that one does ride good with the shock setup he has. Looks like the SW is a bit faster than the MPI Attak. He had the 141 up to 116 on the speedo in a rather short run before he had to drop out. I never looked at it when I drove them, too busy watching the terrain. I sure thought the ride felt good. Did I say I was impressed with the power? These things are sneaky fast with plenty left on the table for the extreme speed freaks.
