Other than putting the 4 position cams in no real issues. I did have it on the snow last year a bit out west and then just got home yesterday from my second weekend in Michigan for the season and have had to change hyflax so far thats minor went pretty good… what would I change you know thats a good question! Im not sure it’s been handling pretty great for the conditions it’s been in! I will be pulling the shocks out end of this season to be rebuilt and checked over as part of maintenance. But otherwise maybe power steering will be added to it for next season. Will see!So now that we had some snow and you guys got a chance to get that rebuild out on the snow any issues, anything you would change. There is always one detail or adjustment that seems to crop up from my experience doing similar jobs. Nice pictures, nice work and alot detail showing the work…Good job…..

Tom had alot of work involved with it and I’m very grateful that he took on this project. Some may ridicule well why not just buy a new one well that new one costs almost double of what I originally paid for this one new. Yes I would have loved a newer one but they just cost too much imo. So I’m okay with spending a few thousand into this one that’s now going to have a better life and i will be taking better care of it with not going off trail as much as before. That is a TON OF WORK ! But, i guess it's warranted when considering the price of a new one. And, this seems like an upgrade. Id rather have a sled like this, thats been massaged, than s new one anyways. Kudos!

Great to hear its running great and your happy with the build.. certainly the knowledge and experience of Tom helped with the changes for the better.. always nice to head off future problems before they happen.. That the one big advantage of doing a project like yours.. let me just say this about EPS on a winder since I have both and ride both to compare.. No question its better but if you have the better shocks and set up a winder properly like I posted your not missing much by not having EPS… Alot will disagree and thats their opinion which is find.. I call it like I feel it when I drive both…back to back… over same trail..Other than putting the 4 position cams in no real issues. For some of us old crotchety people like myself. EPS will allow less fatigue and upper body soreness even set up perfect.Great to hear its running great and your happy with the build.. certainly the knowledge and experience of Tom helped with the changes for the better.. always nice to head off future problems before they happen.. Yes you are 100 percent correct but, remember as we age we lose muscles we do not use… Iam in that over the hill gang also and the biggest thing I found to causes that soreness and fatigue that you refer to is riding under tension.. Loosen up and relax and your soreness will start to fade away .. Tension causes tightness and tightness causes muscles to contract which causes fatigue. I know you know this but I write this for others that may not be aware of what tension free riding will do for them .
