Sidewinder sled lift - What do you guys like?

I think you're going to have to put a shim on the front to keep the bottom of the chain case from hitting the side rail. What's on there doesn't appear high enough
I agree. Noticed just this afternoon mine hits just as you described as i was installing my power steering kit from Barn Full of Parts.

Looks like its sitting flat in this pic of the alum lift and our chassie.

If you are able to zoom into this pic, notice the orange rag I was able to slide between the belly pan and the lift because the Winder has a couple of metallic "bubbles" underneath, one on the right and one on the left which hold the belly pan off the cross member of the lift. The rag was placed after sled was lifted.

There might be a more optimal placement of the lift under the sled before lifting, but it's just what I noticed after the sled was in the air. I didn't look all that closely at the time because I was mainly interested in getting the Power Steering kit installed. This just happened to be a pic I snapped today of the skis "duck toed."

I have the extreme max sled lift works perfectly! I use a 18v cordless drill to lift and lower sleds!
Couldn't live without a lift now that i own one!

The alum lift I got here has a nice soft covering on that cross bar. I would think it wont hurt anything.

Or as you said, move it ahead some maybe? I wont know til my sled arrives.

Got the lift a sled yesterday at Milwaukee. Seems really nice. Sure wish I could get me SW to put on it and start the work.

I use my craftsman 19v cordless drill to raise it up!!!no problem

Ah man, now I want one too, like Dans :whine:

I had an aluminum one before the trick lift and I did not like it because it tended to sway when working on my sled..i will take the safety over weight...
