Sidewinder windshield

Plastidip works well. lot tougher than most people think and super easy to red0 when needed. You just need to be ok with a matte finish.
Took your advice and the matte finish matches the strip up the centre of the cab perfect, I like it so much I'm going to plasti dip my procross handguards tomorrow!

got any pics of it on your sled?

It is sma-8jp96-11-bk. Not sure when we are going to be able to order it. That's the one I plan to get.
So I found similar (blue), otherwise same pn. but it's listed as a viper WS. do all the Viper WS need trimming or shimmed out mounts etc to fit as intended on the winder? IE, the same mounting as a winder without mods to the winder?

The viper mid is a great looking shield unfortunately I got orange sled......

Dont like either of those at all...the "vertical look" of them from side throws off all the lines IMO....

I think if its cold and you need taller, the SE window is the only one that offers sexy looks with decent coverage. I am not and never have been a fan of anything painted solid, unless is below the ski tips. It messes up the peripheral vision more then you think, until you jump on a DOO.....Doo was smart in their clear handguards and mostly clear or very low windows, this offers a great sight line when riding....For me, and how we all ride, and my area...I am also sweating butt off so I want low but just enough to tuck behind on the gun.

I grabbed an SE window for coldest days, but will run stocker much of the time.

Dan
Haha I don't like the look of the SE windshield lol

no...extreme lows should bolt right on...just the ones that wrap around the rear of the headlight..

I like the cat black mid like in my avatar. Gives just enough protection on cold days and looks good against blue with black accents imo.

So the viper low will fit the sidewinder correct? Does anyone know of the part number for I think it was the 15 viper se came with a low white windshield thanks

Viper low should bolt right on directly, it has no wings at all either.

If you like low, you may consider a Cat low, which I always liked on my cat...Ben has a white one on his SW in many of his speed run vids....Its quite low but looks great, and can get a few colors....Vipers have a blue if you want blue too...

I may end up with many windows over the next few seasons, I like to change up a sled over time if I really like the sled and keep it for several seasons.

Just jump on a fiche and choose a yr for grabbing part numbers quickly. ;)
