Was out at a radar run 1000' run 20psi and a stm rage eight clutch with a 54-48 helix wh-wh spring at 3-3 was running 24-33 gearing was not pulling after 600' and could hear rpms go up and then rev out like it blew a belt.
clutches look good and were cool . So i put stock gears 24-38 in it and it pulled
better but did the same thing now at 800' . changed belt cleaned both clutches same thing you would
swear it blew a belt every run.

I'm not racing, but I've had that problem on my trail sled running a Dalton 54/48 and a white spring at 60 degree, when climbing steep inclines and waterskipping the secondary could not hold the belt. Last year I ran a Dalton 56/46 and a red Dalton secondary at 80 degree, problem gone no more slippage to speak of.
