SRX out of Gear

Glare ice conditions on the lake so went out for a test. Not sure on the distance but didn't take long to run out of gear. RPMS started to climb around 124 mph and they were up to 9400from 9000 by the time I hit 127 mph so I let off the throttle

MaxSpool16 and Dalton weights. Everything else stock

Running 71.1 grams

Its running 8900-9000 before it starts running out of gear. Seems good to me

I think ben at TD recommends 70-72 grams for this setup

8700-8800 is optimal...but 8900 is fine too.

Ya ok. I have multi map tune. 230, 250 and 260 hp. I Keep the rpms on the high side for the 260 tune so the 230 tune rpms aren't too low

Very nice....I recall last true GPS speeds on stock 21/41 was 126gps. So 127 you hit but were over-revving so 126gps is likely a correct actual top speed for stock gears at 8900 or so. Nice work.

What are you running for helix and sec spring and degree?

I would expect your belt made it right to top of primary...(max I think is approx 3/16 below)

Was it over 2000ft or closer to 1320ft ya think? You can do a basic distance with ODO on speedo for an approx at least.

Stock helix and spring. Wrapped at 3-3 (Factory setting). Only thing I have changed are the weights in the primary

Belt was definitely close to the top of the primary.

Probably closer to 2000ft but don't want to say for sure. It was a rolling start as it still wants to spin with 144 1.325" studs in the 1" track

I can measure next time I'm out.
