Where’s your cottage in Sundridge? I grew up in the area and still spend lots of time up there when I’m not working. Never hurts to find more guys to ride with....Nice, I'm heading north from Pickering to ride solo in the morning, probably head to cottage in Sundridge pass by there all the time when going up. Would love to spectate one day!

We have a cottage on Bucko MacDonald Rd, in-laws have a cottage just a bit further down as well. Sadly neither are winterized but after seeing the lake in winter for the first time today and seeing how close the cottage is to the trail on the lake I'm gonna make some upgrades this summer! It was a tough ride today for 80% of it, SO MANY MOGULS but the end was ripping Eagle Lake so that was good.

I guess everyone was scared of the TD GPS. I would be too, it's pretty humbling.
I made a couple passes on so so ice on Friday. I for the life of me can't get the speeds the OP is claiming. My best pass was my very first pass. This was the first time I tried max spool 17. 91 pump no issues. I trail ride this sled as it sits.
Some details.
Stock 1.25 rip 2 shaved down to aprox 1".
144 studs.
I had to pedal a bit to keep her straight.
22/41 gearing.
Dalton clutching.
I got out of it around 1500-1600' hence the lower 2000'mph. Top speed on this pass was 126.8 mph at 1500-1600-1700 feetish...
FYI my hand held GPS is always 1-2 mph faster than the TD GPS.

I would love to meet up on a plowed lake and do some runs for fun. I'm by no means going to be very fast, only had her to 117mph. The TD GPS would mean I didn't have to try and peak down and look at a multitude of screens.
I run MS17 since day 0km and have 1700km,other than lots of black soot it scoots!

DMC when are you gonna test the taller gearing?
You also mentioned in a prior post possibly testing different belts and comparing et, mph on ice.
Like many here, I've been subscribed and wait patiently for the results. Keep up the great reporting. Lol

22/37 gearing is going in after my trip next weekend so in a couple weeks we'll see if any gains can be had. It was too cold the last few days to be trying different clutching etc... So I just ran my last years set-up.

I'm sorry but it doesn't mean you didn't do it that he couldn't..
Different setups.
You guys know the numbers I post here during my own testing and they are real.i back them up at the Nbssr races as well.
Typically a good working max 17 will run 128 to 130 in 1320 feet . Max 20 130 to 132. Race map 133 to 140...huge variations due to traction and conditions.
Max 17 very well setup can reach very good speed. 133 is not impossible but sled has to be on point and conditions perfect... As well as a tail wind.
Race map is especially hard to hook up on trail studs.
They need to be sharpened. Or you will never hook up.
DMC..
If you can't keep sled straight your studs aren't working right. On ice you want 2 stud per row 3 max... And sharp... Triggers or hornets. The rest is garbage.
I'm giving you guys good tips here hope you guys like them.
