back in the 80 we had the best time drag racing in ontario ca , the guys from michigan would come over here , draper racing , dunigan racing , belmont racing , these guys were fast , i enjoyed the fast pace of drag racing and miss it , i still have a scrape book of pictures of the coolest sleds back them , unfortunately the insurance to hold the events became very costly and ended drag racing ,You Canadian dudes seem to be so concerned with the top speed or speed runs. You're all looking for speed on the top end. Seems like here in the US we're more concerned about getting there quickly in a drag race than what the speed is. Maybe it's because you have more wide open spaces or more places to leg it out that we do here. Here ET is where its at.
I'm looking at your ET's on the draggy and thinking you only have 4 hundredths of a second on a good 600 stocker I used to run in 660. And I had a good 800 stocker that ran 6.35's in 660.

Well said. Just for fun and bragging rights...I find radar running more casual and relaxing. LOL
Usually a small group of friends with a mixture of sleds just playing around and when u want to go home u just leave
DRag racing or ET seems to be more of an organized event which we don’t have a lot of without a bunch of travel

Good and bad day on the lake today. Personal best of 138.2 mph on the dragy, 137.9 mph on the stalker in 1320' with my 200lbs on the seat. The bad, forgot to turn the tab on my side panel and broke it in half and took out my 4th ultimax belt of the season.

I've seen a few panels wrecked now in a couple years. Wish they had two tabs up front.Good and bad day on the lake today. I feel honored to be called a friend of Glen(Fleecer) but I’m sure I would hit it off really well with DMC because you guys are cut from the same cloth good luck to both of you in your pursuit of maximum miles per hour

Although I dont participate in any racing against anyone other than myself I have big respect for the fast guys wether it be to 660 or 5 miles. They both require knowledge and testing and tuning to accomplish. Big speeds takes chassis efficiency and perfect clutching balance and perfect gear set especially on groomed trail which is dedication to testing and all the money wasted while figuring this out. Same can be said for the 660 guys with the added problem of getting traction and mastering the perfect holeshot and the list goes on and on. Bottom line is it takes alot of dedication and testing. You can get a good starting point from a friend but at the end of the day your gonna have to put in the work if you want the results.

Watch out for a##holes who come out of the bar and walk over to your sled and turn those tabs to open position! They laugh and walk away figuring once you're headed down the lake at 100+ the side panel will blow open. My group has been forced to check our tabs each time we leave any stop. Jerks!I've seen a few panels wrecked now in a couple years. Wish they had two tabs up front.
Great speeds!
