Haven't heard of failures at all since 2017. Although I admit I have regreased mine.I thought you might say that. Typically what is the life expectancy of that bearing.

Have you opened it up? It's like a heavy waxed based grease. Looks more like candle wax. Besides, mines was full at the time. I'm guessing 10k or more of grease life expectancy. Is there a specific grease you use?Yes, hi temp, hi rpm grease. Bearing is turning 9000 rpm.

I'll see if I can find it in my notes. Believe it was Aeroshell #7 airplane grease. Temp range -99 degF to +300 F. I'll confirm.Is there a specific grease you use?

Only possible movement that would be felt would be in the bearing itself. Can’t imagine there should be but god knows .

Yep...that's exactly what it feels like. Brg & cage itself. It's not horrible, but definitely noticeable. I've never even thought to play with it, as I sit here and wait for knockoff.Only possible movement that would be felt would be in the bearing itself. Can’t imagine there should be but god knows .

Believe me - as bearing runs it heats up and the balls get bigger in diameter. Both races also "grow" due to thermal expansion. Gotta remember this bearing gets heat from crank/crankcase, and primary clutch. When you're out riding this bearing is turning what, 5-9000 RPM? Once it's at operating temp, there wouldn't be any "wobble" in primary clutch or stub shaft. Well, maybe technically there might a few millionths.Yep...that's exactly what it feels like.
