Super Charger Build Updates!!

Super charger project is now in reverse...2 steps forward and 6 steps back. The used motor I found for my rebuild is leaking antifreeze from the water pump, looks like a cracked housing... some idiot must have dropped the motor or it was hit.

Did FEDEX deliver it. I seen video of them pushing a stove down the freeway with a truck. OR maybe they threw it over your gate.

It was UPS... its either that, or they new it was cracked and didnt tell me... typical BS.

I feel your pain, I had a bad valve cover breather that was pushing out the half moon on my valve cover gasket. :o|

Thats a big mess too... just have to keep pushing and hope for the best.

I am good now just waiting till Thursday for the new gasket to get here. Just re-did the clutching tonight. I sure miss bouncing things off of Turk. I saved every email I ever got from the big guy.

I know it sucks loosing such a great guy and a wonderful asset to Yamaha owners.

Here is the latest. After a miserable broken leaky water pump, dry oil pump and problems with my LCD and PCV firmware updates... I have a running Supercharged Sled

You can see I had to pull the motor a 2nd time because of the water pump change. Here are some pics of the fun

Left to do:
HIDs, stud tracks and finished installing front panels and skid plate.

wow what a project.....looks awesome, nice work!

those are the updated M-20 fitting I installed and so far so good. The only difference is I just got the new tunnel fitting replaced that was the last leaking spot. good luck Tom!

i see you have a filter on that breather line instead of that stirafoam piece that comes with the s.c does that help with the small amount of oil mess ?
do you know the part # of that filter? mine has always spit some oil out of that breather line .
thanks and good luck everything looks good on that sled.
