My head shim I guess was installed and timing changed by Powder Lite. I would think we are good.

Is this on the new engine? You will be able to see the headshim.. Kinger, did you do the gaskets or the aluminum shim?

Flybyu, Tom's motor has an aluminum shim with a head gasket on each side of the shim (should drop his compression ratio to about 9.5:1 ratio). Kinger's motor has a single .060" thick Cometic head gasket with stock head studs retorqued (he has approximately 10:1 compression).

Looks like good progress. The motor on the bench must be going in? I dont see the MPI PTO shaft coming out the mag.
What did you decide on for final spec for the engine?

Sounds great, interested in PCV auto tune set up and how it works. I want one just to use my sled start (doesnt work with GEMS) LOL

Here are a few pics of progress. I transferred parts from the old motor to the new motor. Cleaned all the gunk out of the naked chassis and added Viper thermostat. Need to be sure the viper stat is centered, its a little smaller in diameter. I also relocated the water temp gauge pick up to the top of the motor instead of in the down return line.

More progress
I finally have the motor in place. I added the new exhaust gaskets from Sledtoys.com, put the super charger in place after routing all the wiring. I added the Ulmer Oil Filter relocation kit and found the only reasonable place to mount the bastard ...LOL ... even though it up high it tucks nicely in place. Once the oil is drained you will have to put a cloth under the filter and be very careful when changing.... way better then taking the Supercharger out to get to the filter.

are you moving the skid back an inch so you can get 9 tooth antiratchets in there. I put 8 tooth in to get the clearance because the front arm is so far forward.
