Sylvania Silverstar headlights - Excellent on Apex

i run PIAA SUPERPLASMA BULBS 125low 135high draws the same wattage as stock, they are the best!! $50 a piece been in for 2 years, they use them in dakar race very bright!! i'll use them agian when they burn out.

One season is exactly what I got out of my Ultra's last winter. In my case they "burned out" right after I pressure washed my sled at the end of the season. Therefore I suspect that moisture had something to do with it.

However at less than $50 a pair I am ok with replacing them every season. For me they are still worth the expense because of the substantial improvement in lighting that they provide.

Last season I bought 2 15.00 bulbs from Royal Distributing. They are 80/130 and so far they are great. I had one in my Phazer for 8 years with no trouble. Super bright with a slight blue tint. I tried silverstars in my VW once and they both lasted less than 4 months.

Do I have the right part # "9003SU/2" for Silverstar Ultra's this is what I found on their website, I want to get the right ones...

The worst thing about the 06 headlight is there isnt any overlap between high and low beam, hi is way up there. I was thinking a bulb with a little different focal point to the 2 beams could help with that.
Do the silverstars help that problem?

didnt a guy come up with a fix on here to fix that gap by puting a washer on it i forget what size but i was reading it on a search here the other day

OK just a little new with this stuff. Got the lights and "HOW" do I go about and put it in?
