Buddy has tall windshield on his SW LTX DX. trying to remove. Does any one know if the two front tabs that are inserted under the shroud are clipped underneath. Trying to pop them out but don't want to break windshield. Does the shroud and headlight pod have to be separated? Parts fiche shows a slot in each tab. Hope there is an easy way.
Thanks
Thanks

Did a windshield change out last year, multiple times.
Leave the hood on, just remove both side panels and you shall see the torx screws that need to come off to allow those tabs to slide out without bending or breaking them.
That is how I remember changing windshields. Pretty quick job, minutes only.

The tab that hooks is flat and goes to the outside of the sled, push windshield down ( all screws out) at tabs and then move tab towards the headlight. Tab should come unhooked.. First few times is annoying, but after you see it out you will understand. When sled is new it is very snug, I had to take hood apart first time, but after seeing how it is setup is much easier now.

Came off easy with Torx removed. Much appreciated.
