Now check out the before and after of removing the lower Panel
Sooo Much Rooom!!!
Exhaust, oil tank, drain plug, chain tensioner, chaincase, are all easily accessible now.
I suggest sticking with OEM TORQUE SPECS
Once everything is torqued To spec it’s time to add the oil.
Note: add oil in oil tank, and follow instructions in owners manual. Oil change is now complete

Do you have any pics of the rivnuts that you installed? I've heard them referenced before and if like to see how they work.
My feelings on studs- if you don't put them in, you can't put one through your heat exchanger... call me paranoid!

Hi Kkutz,
Good point on studs. :/
I’m been hesitating between aluminum and SS, so... I picked up both!
I purchased a kit which came with the following sizes:
M4,M5,M6,M8 aluminum
Also bought:
10-24 SS
1/4-20 SS
Im gonna size them up and test the rivnuts on some scraps before touching the sled.
Hopefully this weekend I’ll have it complete and pictures up and if I screw up, it’s gonna be posted too. :0

JUst did the lower panel on mine before putting it away, went with M-5's. Make sure whatever screws you use aren't too long where they are by the lower oil lines.

Good idea on the rivnuts, coming from a boosted apex, you need access to chain case often. This much power really stretches the chains out. I burned through one chain a year or every other year. I checked chain tension once at the start of the year and then before any trip. Its helpful to know how much you keep tightening it as you know the chain is stretching and once you do it enough you can tell if you need to replace the chain without opening the case. I'm going to tune mine with a small muffler as well so I can reach the adjuster without removing much. Apex chain case was bullet proof with proper maint, need to develop some confidence in the new one now.

Thanks for the suggestion didn’t think the chain would stretch so much, I will keep an eye on it

I have been looking into to the racewerx coupler.
Yamaha has one but not sure of quality

Hit up Travis at BOP, he has one for sale.
You’ll never use the factory setup again once you install one and see how that procross responds to the positions.

TOOLS AQUIRED:
I picked up a few different sizes of rivnuts. In the end I went with aluminum M6 all around except for one. The rivnut to the left of shock tower is SS M6.
Turned out well. Will change bolts soon, just used SS for now.
