EJCamaro has a beautiful rig for the sleds to ride on, it even has TY stickers LOL. He is out by Tyler doing last minute set-ups and test runs.

They are calling for big rain down here tonight, Sunday, and Monday. Then the temps are expected to go into the high 80's and low 90's by Wednesday. Ennis has 5 inches of rain last week but it is so dry down here that the ground soaked it all up the next day. I will have a better idea of what the weather is going to do before you leave.

Tom, I know you have been to the track, but which side of the track is the tower on? I will need to know for time run numbers. Also, how are the pits, wide open blacktop?

I have been to the track but didnt go in to look around. I just went to the main office. Everything was fenced off and the gates were all locked. I would think it would be all blacktop in the pits. The track runs to the north from the south. I will find out and let you know. If necessary, we can move it when you get here.

I am just wondering about blacktop or grass for my pop-up tent to keep the sun off......

Only 4 days before I leave for Texas, and then the fun begins. Just to let you know, I have the sled all apart, checking everything from bolts and rivots, to bearings, wheels, new chain, new bearings, seals, and gearcase oil. Checking all switches, and connections also. My wife is on pins and needles, when she saw the track, suspension, and clutches laying outside. LOL

So this Wed. is the season Finale of Pinks. Will the sled show not air until next year??? When does the new season begin??

I have not heard, as this was one of the 1st episodes for the 4th season. I am thinking that this would be aired sometime soon, as they want the loser's vehicle to be on Ebay. The Tosto brothers that I am 100 % sure on was taped in mid July 06, and aired 8/30/06.
