In checking out the sled in greater detail, I found that the black Philips-head screws that are used to secure the lower plastic panes(below the removable side panels) were very tight-had to resort to a screw extractor for two of them.

If you remove the screws, be sure to have a good tip on the screwdriver-I did and still had problems. Maybe a Hex(Allen) head fastener would be used in place of the oem.

Make sure you use a #3 phillips tip for a screwdriver.

Went thru many of those screws on the 03 and 05. Happy to have the 1/4 turns for clutching changes.

The screws on my '03 were very tight, also. I had to use an impact driver to get them loose. When putting the screws back in, be sure to use blue Loctite (sp?). I didn't and had two fall out. :o|
