No but I will do that TD.Curious if you've spun the new assembly on a lathe to check runout and true up?

You are first to say that. Most including me think Viper is loud from track and vibrates. But you are right there is no drone with quiet exhaust. Not sure if the "silent" track is the reason but I like how "quiet" the Cat drive train is. I hated the drone on Apex and Vector's (not sure of the Nitro's). Please let us know if this changes with what you're doing.

Weird...my sled only has a hint of vibration (sometimes) you can feel thru your boots, other than that it is smooooth. I've read where you've commented on this track before and it didn't make sense to me. Mine is bone stock except for Ulmer clutch kit. It's been that way for 2500 miles; just wish it ran as well as it is smooth. I never get to eat my cake-

Did the slight vibration from day one. Pete Becker a high mile Apex guy commented on it also after riding mine. Stock about 200mi on it then. Might just be a 129 thing. Track had 9500mi on it when it went. Those bumps are a annoyance studding also. I sink them in but still will chunk rubber off wheels slightlyHow many Miles on track?

Certainly agree on what seems like track and vibration. It seems like the sled rattles more than you head the motor. Pretty annoying to me.You are first to say that. Most including me think Viper is loud from track and vibrates. But you are right there is no drone with quiet exhaust.

Assembly has about .015in runout on lathe TD. Will do extroverts later.
Good news the Driver assembly fits perfectly. Just need to put suspension back in and stud. River is good now so kinda pumped for some speed runs! Wish me luck. 106 gps is fastest I got last year.

Just a thought...for someone not wanting to dismantle the whole assembly to switch drivers you could easily use an oscillating tool to cut the extrovert nubs off flush while still in sled.

You could but you would have holes where they were cut off. Probably not ideal for track wear. The drivers are about $20 each or whole assembly around $200. I had to change out track since mine was shot. Snow is nonexistent and shock business is nill so now was the time.Just a thought...for someone not wanting to dismantle the whole assembly to switch drivers you could easily use an oscillating tool to cut the extrovert nubs off flush while still in sled.

Yes terrible. Even the rivers haven't been any good. Snow then rain then melting and refreezing. Water everywhere. Put almost all my miles on in UP this year. Miss riding right from my door. Hoping for good February! Are you guys having a low snow year back there this season?

The southern 2/3 of the state as well as a lot of the NW is all closed right now. Nasty January thaw with rains. We have a solid base here in the center and the northwoods has some decent cover, but quite limited.
I'm thinking of putting my sled away and see if that tempts mother nature to let go...

That sucks, I feel your pain though. This year is pretty good/normal, last season was poor though. The previous year was historically bad and most of the areas never even opened up at all here in WA.
Hopefully things will cool down for you guys in Feb.

The cool is here and has frozen much of the slush on the lakes. Now we need some snow! Not sure about the creeks though. Many probably still open.

My river is good but have to have studs. Excited! This is a brand new track so stiff as it gets and this thing rolls with two fingers with engine off! Definitely the Introverts reduced drag. Didn't have time to get the studs in yet but will get it done tomorrow and cant wait to hit that river. 106mph last year gps. River should be faster with less snow. Put the same can on I had last year. Little secret mod Ulmer did for me. And these drivers. I will suck the strap up if I have to. Is 110mph GPS possible?
