I can share with u my results I seen ,what kinda power could i expect if i bought the trail header and the larger intercooler with max spool 19 or 20? if maxspool 17 is around 22 would 20 be around 25lbs? that'd be sweet.
the larger flow intercooler = cooler air temp by 20 degrees = less knock on higher boost with pump gas . I don't think 25 psi is realistic on pump . like ben stated the header is making power for sure , more flow =more power , example when I added the header my a/f went from 12.1 to 13.1 on the stock fuel reg , this is why u will need to add a td fuel reg to increase the fuel pressure , this works great , simple . I think u probably all ready no this , but I figured I would add this for others that don't

Curious how many miles you have on the header? Close to the gas tank?I can share with u my results I seen ,

TD header is fully covered by stock shields . Very minimal trimming where it transitions from header to header pipe.

the td header has been designed and made excellent , the welds and bends r amazing , with a highly polished finish , the cost is worth $$$$TD header is fully covered by stock shields . Very minimal trimming where it transitions from header to header pipe.

Supposedly TD offers a thicker/heavier high mileage performance header. Anyone have any opinions on that model?

They’re tough to come by. I waited 6 weeks for one and then at TDs suggestion settled for the race/trail header. I got the impression that they don’t like building the heavy duty one. I believe the term they used was the heavy duty one was a “novelty design”. I really like how close the collector is to the turbo on the heavy duty one. Should really spool the turbo quickly. I have to say the race/trail version is very nice.Supposedly TD with offers a thicker/heavier high mileage performance header. Anyone have any opinions on that model?

While the performance is certainly there, and some great weight savings. My worry would be longevity of any aftermarket header when pounded hard through the junk season after season, just seems it would be hard to last.Supposedly TD with offers a thicker/heavier high mileage performance header. i agree with dan. i rode 3800km this yr. i trail ride as much i race or radar. i want something i don't have to worry about especially when it's around my gas tank! While the performance is certainly there, and some great weight savings. I'd say more... Max 17 like 300hp now.
Max 20 315hp plus.
TD stage 6 kicks it il another notch. Max 17 feels like 22 psi of boost.
What clutching do you use for trail riding with this hp?

all the T D stage 6 sleds run STM 3VL front and STM back to support this HP.What clutching do you use for trail riding with this hp?
Stock clutches with proper could work as well but won't perform quite as well.

Is it worth while to use TD's header pipe with the multi bundle with smm? Or is the muffler to restrictive?

I have max spool 16 with BOV and CAI running stock muffler, what is the power gain going to TD header? top end power or power and torque over entire power range??Absolutely. massive performance difference with the TD header even with a stock muffler.
