Trying to decide on an Apex.

IMO that would be an awesome trail sled. The GT has a good shock package and the Yamacharger may sway my opinion to get the shorty over the 136.
Had a riding buddy that had a 2006 Apex with a Yamacharger. We primarily ride trails and this sled would get the same mileage as mine and it would spank me on the lake runs.
The only thing that bothers me about this one is that it has sat for 5 years. That is hard on the bearings and some of the seals.
But only 1200 miles. Its just thru its break in period. I wish I could find low mile sleds like that where I live for those prices.
Best of luck on your decision.

That's another good one. I would say you would be happy with either one. 2010 or this yamacharged one. Depends if you want the yamacharger or not. That sled has the nice shock package. No wrong choice imo.

Go with the 2010! I saw that on craigslist. Nice sled for good price.

I actually got the guy with the 2010 down from 6000 to 5000, he needs the cash bad. I just couldn't get away to get it, 5 hour drive. The 2010 has many updates over previous Apex's and the 136 handles the bumps much better. Better hurry, he said he wouldn't sell it when March comes because he gets a disability check!

I honestly would still buy the 2010 over the Yamacharged sled. Still tons of power and will run forever.

Have it shipped! When I bought my sled this year it would have costed me more to drive (7hr each way)+ hotel & food than it cost to have it shipped, only $430!

Cost a lot less than $430 to drive a 10 hour round trip and wouldn't need a motel either. Just couldn't get away with family and work. I drove 1100 miles in one day to get an RX 1 in the UP. Had the time then.

My reason for having mine shipped is different than yours, mine was price & time, where as yours is time. Just thought if you had it shipped you wouldn't have to miss out on an awesome deal. Just trying to help

That 2010 and the GT are in NE Michigan. Going to my cabin I pass the turbo sled, 40 miles south of my cabin, and the 2010 is 30 miles north of my cabin. We are supposed to get a huge snow Wednesday night so heading up this weekend. Trying to find a trailer right now since my trailer and sled were stolen a week and a half ago from my house while doing doughnuts on my RX. Planning on getting one of them this weekend. The both are firm on prices. I like the GT but worried about engine reliability. Seems like when we modify things it opens potential concerns. My weekends are precious and want to ride and not wrench on my sleds.

I have read good and bad about the yamacharger. My logic is that 150 dead reliable hp is plenty so why mess with it! If you never have the yamacharger you won't know what your missing anyway!!!! Either way they are both nice looking sleds.

The 2010 guy was firm on the price because he gets a disability check the first of March. He needed cash because he bought a truck. Nice to be able to ride snowmobiles on full disability. He kinda turned me off from the deal because he kept talking. He did tell you the windshield has a crack and there is a cigarette burn on the seat too?

He was drunk when I talked to him. He did not disclose that. Hopefully he maintained it. He did say he bought it last year in Gaylord for 7800

Nice....Drunk off our money and riding snowmobiles! Sounds like a real treat!
This is what turned me off from him. He has several dui's, went thru 3 vehicles in a year and a half, and the disability thing. Not sure how well he maintained the sled. Was supposed to meet him twice but couldn't bring myself to follow thru. Gut instinct. Like I said, he talked myself out of it. Good luck either way.

I have never owned an enclosed trailer since my sleds are in a garage up north, however on occasion had to haul on my open trailer which was stolen with my sled. Found a 2003 Triton 10' clamshell trailer for 1250.00 which seems like a smoking deal on a clamshell 10' trailer, will the 136 fit in there with out a problem? Anyone?

If the trailer has a bump out in the front, should fit with a little room to spare. I have a 10' Karavan with a Snopro Clam and my Attak fits.
