I always put the traction brackets on my sleds, cause of weight, and tunnel flex. I saw they didn't have them for 06 yet, so I took a set from an 05, and mounted them ..............they work and fit great!
The only thing is depending on fit, you might have to tap the 1st inside 4 punchouts for them to sit flat on the tunnel. But the blue ones look cool on the blue attak.

Yes, Tork, But the 05 rx1 has the remote adjuster, and the triangle plates for the suspension mounts.
sinjin, I will post some in a couple hours.

I was wondering the same thing.
I was at dealer oogalling a rtx when I went to get up , I put my hand on the running board and it flexed.
So Im thinking this aint too stiff.
Not can we get them in red or even black?
I see alot of new items in the book ,very few red for the rtx.
Seems like everything is geared to the GT.
Kinda like the car performance world, everything there geared towards GM, just starting to open up to the Ford market these past few years.
WE WANT MORE RED ACCS.!!!!

Which ever ones the 05's are. I threw the bag away when I got home from Novi. Get 05 traction brackets, cause they have the cutout for the dial adjust, and the triangle where the suspension bolts up to the tunnel.
The right one (passenger side), fit pretty well, and only had to tap the 4 inside traction punch-outs a little bit to have it sit flat. The left side (driver side), shows a tiny gap where I mounted right over the dial adjust plate. Tapped that side down a little bit also, but they still came out nice.

Good to hear that these brackets fit, almost anyway. Does anyone know how to find out if Yamaha is going to make them for the 06? I was told by Rob Powers at the Syracuse snow show that they were working on them. But nothing so far. I'd wait if I knew that they were coming. Any idea who to call or email? As for color, I had a black set powder coated to match my 05 RX. Came out great, perfect match, held up great.

I didn't want to wait either, and grabbed some from Port, and put them on a demo they had at the show. That is how I found out they would work.
