Turbo Dynamics Canada Dyno results

Td has some videos of the exhaust running...they are a good guide to what you can expect...ben uses the term sport bike sound for the turbo force...that seems accurate to me..

Going to put a turbo force on my sled tonight and see what it sounds like. I ran mine stock last night (track alignment). IT IS VERY quite stock. I will try to post sound clips if I can figure out how. Stay tuned. Should have it on around 4pm central. Going to try to sound test it maybe with a phone app.
Let's hear it

Well I cant figure out how to post a video of the TD turbo force? (keeps saying to big) Anyway I did get it on the sled and its certainly not as loud as I thought it would be. It was at 89-93 DB on my phone app. I tried to replicate the WI test. Which was 11 ft away at 4 ft off the ground and 45 degrees from muffler on muffler side of sled and it was 86-87 DB at idle 1500 rpms.. 88-93 at 2500 or so.. Kinda hard to hold it at 2500 rpm. Clutch engages around that. But this muffler IS NOT obnoxious IMO. Has a nice deep tone, and its actually not any louder once you get on it some. I did not hammer the he** out of it on the stand. I will try to post yet the vids I have or do a link

On the install process... Its a little tight taking the stock 50T bolts out there are two that are tight. I used a 50t bit and a small wrench to make it fit. I guess if a guy has every tool made which i do not it might be easier. Just something to think about if and when you remove stock muffler . nothing major but if you look at the bolts you will see what i mean. TD goes in easy and nice fit, I did use the stock heat shield aslo

Thanks for the quick review. And the super quiet cuts that noise in half.

No problem, its a nice deep sounding can. And it actually seemed like it got quieter when I got on the gas some?? Turbo eating some exhaust noise??

Can the gasket at the muffler flange be reused or is a new one needed ?
