Turbo Dynamics Canada Dyno results


We finally completed the 2017 TD super quiet dyno run on the Td ecotrail ecu reflash for the 2017 yamaha sidewinder 125.8hp at the track of 251 hp vs 258 for the Td Turbo force muffler. This is great news, and more hp than the orignal design. This muffler also works on the 2017 arctic cat Thundercat and zr9000.

Now the next higher dyno run/line is the new clutch weights with TD super quiet muffler and TD ecotrail which load the motor more and make a lot more torque at the track running 8700rpm and 4 more track hp peak. During the beginning of the shift we have power gains of up to 10 track hp. This is huge for a simple weight change. That is due to a totally different weight profile than the stock sidewinder weight.

The highest track hp was the TD Turbo Force with td ecotrail ecu reflash and the new clutch weights at 8700rpm.

More info to come about the clutch weights soon. I have other weights to test as well.

The sad thing is, since I've never heard this motor before, I need to ride it 1st before i decide on pipe. But i'm watching all these posts with anxious ears. Keep all the info coming please...

How can anyone sleep with this coming down for first time and Deer on the move! Minnesota really got pounded. Some Sidewinders may be used for Rescue Duty! Expect lots of pics. Get em out Boyz time for talking is over! For a few days at least..

Clutch weights? Adjustable? Listening :cool:
We will have more details soon. We want to continue testing and try different weights and curves before we market the one we like the most. But so far these weights are kicking #*$&@ on the track dyno.
It's rare to see such a big improvement with just weights.

They are adjustable.

AND I believe the right weights can make a huge difference . Interested in what you come up with..

That will come standard with any Td flash...

You will be able to Upgrade your td flash to a td multi stage so no worry about buying the Ecotrail map or powertrail map early and losing out on better upcoming products...

We will have cables for reflashing your ecu pretty soon as well. But of course that will be more expensive than a simple reflash.
