viper diet....

I think for anyone they will be an outstanding shock anything above the float 2 is a major improvement in ride quality. I have float 3's on my viper right now with out any chamber and they are still doing the trick. I think everyone will be really impressed with the rc-2 shocks, after they sit down and do small changes to get them adjusted right.
I for see a video tutorial or even a new thread dedicated on tuning these shocks

Got a present in the mail today!!! new shocks for all the way around the sled, I know in the pict it only shows one front shock but I was not crazy and got a pair. I have always been a fox guy and will keep a set for back up in case I bend these.
But GOOD GOD are these ever nice! Thank you Zbroz & Exit shocks! these are gonna add some weight to the machine but the ride quality is worth the weight increase. I will have to find a way to take it back off .....
I ordered the same rear shocks from Monster Performance.. I have evol x rc2's on the front so just ordered the rears... Can't wait to use 'em!

Sorry again guys, fall is here and I am in a mad panic to get everything done before winter hits..... back filled the yard with gravel and finished up the shop to the point were it is usable.....
On the 7th I will be getting my nytro mod and viper mod hooked up to a dyno for some numbers. The plan is to get a good consistent reading before I ship my comp off to EVO!!! I cant wait to see them numbers before and after the re-flash.
looking for some shots in the dark as to how much power both machines will make (dyno off the crank) could not find a track dyno. ALL NUMBERS WELCOME except for the guy that guesses 1 bob barker
Nytro I am hoping to see 150-155hp
viper I expect a lot more 165-175

shop is done and doors are in and working

sled bay is slowly coming together, missing the chain hoist and some Yamaha banners soon to come.

The main bay is just missing the s185 bobcat

Also start of the week I should have my new red and black klim geared decal kit from ARCTICFX really pumped to see it, I ordered enough material to do the top of the tunnel and the hood scoops?

Stared doing inventory at work Friday night though this coming tues...... not leaving a lot of time for sled work! That's why it is dark at night so I can sneak out to the shop and get a little bit of stuff done before I get caught.
Machine is finally home and on the bench ready to get the strip down for the tunnel decal kit. I didn't have to take the gas tank off but I had the material to start the decal at the tank pad half way down the tank. I am homing it will give it a cleaner look.
I also didn't realize how many parts came in a ArcticFX decal kit!!! awesome it covers everything!

With the machine all apart I took the time to clean up my poor wiring job with the PCV and auto tuner.
Tonight more decals and hoping to swap out my floats to the EXIT shocks

when its im one piece can you please get a video of the sled on a stand? i want to get a can and likely hindle but id love to hear it first

If all goes well I should be able to later tonight..... Wife comes home on the late flight so I might get a min to two
The sound will be a little off in the shop and it has a full exhaust

awesome how difficult is the header install?

not too bad at all You do have to take the machine down to the picts above, but then it just bolts in like a nytro header, I would much prefer doing a viper exhaust over my nytro

Very little progress last night, got some decals put on and the sled put back together!
I also have a sound clip if I can get it to up load.........
This decal kit is huge and overwhelming gonna take some long hours and the wife to help put it on :)

This vid cuts was too long for the whole thing to be played but you will get the jist of it.... Sorry for the squeak I forgot to put a rubber gasket down on the belly pan were the exhaust tip goes through and it has a small squeak.....
I hope this help answer some questions, if you would like another one out side I can pop the belt off and run it up a bit.... wont be till next wee though

Just got all the pictures back up on the thread sorry for the disappearing act, for some reason a bunch of the picts had been moved but everything should be back up

Sounds like it wants to go. Thanks for putting that clip up. I just bought the Hindle can and am glad to hear it sounds nice.

Got a few more hours in on the decal kit and this has to be the biggest love hate relationship ever..... epic kit great fit but wow for time to install. I have about five hours into this kit and I don't have one side complete yet.
This kit has a decal for every blank spot on this viper.... it is taking longer to cut the piece off the sheet and find were it goes than to install it......nothing a beer and some good music wont fix
