Here are some pics:
My lights block it on camera but I walked about 50 ft away and could see it easily. Should go further to side though. I dont think anyone is going to see it unless on a-arm. The HID lights even on low are just too bright.

02Viper, did your kit come with that accessory connector? Mine did not and I was trying to figure out where you were suppose to plug in the RCA connect from the RAD light. The only RCA connector on my Apex is the one for the heated shield. I can see how having that accessory connector to tie into the RAD light makes the kit plug-n-play but unfortunately mine didn't come with one. I know some guys are plugging into his power supply but I don't have the either.

I checked today and I didn't get any thing either to hook to the sled side whether it be plug and play or to be able to hook into my power socket etc in my kit.. I emailed Rock and waiting for a reply.

Yes, my kits came as pictured. I spoke to Roc about how they hooked prior to purchase, and he stated that he can have them set up to connect to my accessory outlet plug(which I subsequently found out he meant the "cigarette lighter"-after I was thinking there was a free/open plug hanging somewhere under the plastics on the sled!) He told me he could have them set with the Apex style plug hook-ups, OR you can buy his Smart Supply adapter, but I personally did not have any need for extra outlets on my sled, and this was the route I preferred.
Just a note regarding mounting on the sled, the instructions that are provided do state that you would want to mount the light kind of away from your headlight, to avoid it being washed out. I have not mounted mine yet, not near my sled at the moment, but would think adjacent to the headlight, especially with HID's or LED's would not make it as easily noticeable as possible.

Right. I may make a mount that sticks out. Break away flag mount like we use in the sand dunes might work well.

I have no way to hook up these lights.. Rock wants $25 for the plug and play kit and has no RCA connector with wire for me to run to the sled's wiring or fuse box.
Anyone want to buy them? I'll just keep the Ride Lites I have .. and work with the bad wiring on them.. fixed one already anyway.. Rocks RAD lights I'll sell for $25 each plus shipping via usps Priority. $8
Rocks email
"You have 2 options on them.
1) The Smart Supply Power Port has 2 RCA outputs for running RAD Lights, Heated Shields etc,
and 2 USB outputs for charging your phone, GPS, and other devices right from your sled.
It is totally Plug & Play and ships immediately. They are $55 per unit
Can see on the PRODUCTS Page at www.yamaheater.com
2) We also make Plug & Play adapters with only the RCA Female output that will plug right into your Apex/Attak also.
They are $25 each and will ship next week. (We build these to order)
Shipping on for basic adapters or one Smart Supply is $6 for one, $10 shipping for 2 Smart Supply Power Ports.
Can PayPal to hotrock1@comcast.net or do a CC directly also.
Either way, will get you taken care of!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have, am here to help!
Thanks, Rock : )

Would imagine it may be cheaper to use a heated shield hook-up to wire to the RCA cable. Which would be a cheaper option .I have no way to hook up these lights.. Rock wants $25 for the plug and play kit and has no RCA connector with wire for me to run to the sled's wiring or fuse box.

The kits are $15 or more and would the thin wireing handle the amp draw on the light? ODD... the guy above got the connector with the kit... I preordered at a lower price so maybe i'm getting what I paid for.. what's the point of pre ordering for a lower price then getting shorted ? Here is what I got as a total in the kit. Confusing so far.

Just to avoid any confusion, I did Pre-Order as well, but I did pay extra for the "Plug-and-Play" adapters. Either way, it was cheaper than ordering RideLights, and I trust Rocz products. The kits are $15 or more and would the thin wireing handle the amp draw on the light? I just placed an order with Rocz. I've already got his smart supply so I'm just using the supplied RCA wire. Plug in on both ends and velcro to the side and I'm done! His stuff is top notch, he was telling me how he played with the prizm and light quality to get the brightness just right. Never had an issue with any of his stuff and I use his HID kit also... I'll be satisfied.

I'll have to side with CaptCape on this as that is exactly what I received with my kit as well. Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy with his other products like Yamaheaters (have them on 3 sleds) or his HID headlight kit (installed them on my new Apex and leaning towards installing them on my 08) but doubt I will use the RAD light if an extra connector cable has to be purchased for the kit to be plug-n-play. Even the instructions mention the following under Installation: "Remove panels, open hood, etc required to locate/get to accessory connector." That's what was confusing to me since I wasn't aware of there being a connector cable that would tie into the accessory connector and expose a female RCA jack for the RAD light to plug into. That is why I thought my kit was missing a cable/connector.

Call Rock. Mine comes with the cord. Everything's plug-and-play everything I need is in the kit. Give him a call maybe the cord was forgotten.

I talked to him recently. He offered me a short 6" pig tail to tie into the sled side. But I have to pay shipping... I passed. I have 2 ride lites that are working ..one has the wires fixed. The other will go as well. I'll just fix it. don't want to put any more money into these RAD lights...
Make sure you get the one you need or want.. he did say you can use a heated shield RCA if you have a spare one laying around.
Up for sale never used... $50 for 2 of them plus $8 shipping.

It is possible that it may just be an oversight on Rock's part being all clear and simple to him, not realizing that there are guys like me out there whose only hands-on experience with electricity is touching my tongue to the terminals of a battery to see if there is power or not. Might be a good idea to list options with prices to cover the possible applications.
