Mine left a 3ft puddle when tipped on right side handlebar just touching snow. Ran about 5 seconds till I shut it off.
I would strongly suggest you check your oil seperator for water or stuck check ball.
So whats the procedure? How do we know if its going to work or not? That happened last year with under 1000mi on it.I would strongly suggest you check your oil seperator for water or stuck check ball.
Good info. Thanks StingrayRight side oil goes away from vent, check ball stops oil upside down. On the left side past 90 degrees or so it goes out the vent.

Additional info: so I took my sled over the Meyers Yamaha in Ishpeming and I was talking to Randy about it........I mentioned I didn't think a guy should lose his sled to a simple rollover........he made a statement that made the lightbulb in my head go "airbox mod"........he said on a left side rollover the oil should go into the airbox (whether or not that is a good idea is , to my mind, debatable)........however with the extra holes in the airbox THAT's how the oil escaped....anyway I am going to invest in a rollover valve before it's back on the snow.........

So are you saying the mod that you did on your air box let the oil out?Additional info: so I took my sled over the Meyers Yamaha in Ishpeming and I was talking to Randy about it........I mentioned I didn't think a guy should lose his sled to a simple rollover........he made a statement that made the lightbulb in my head go "airbox mod"........he said on a left side rollover the oil should go into the airbox (whether or not that is a good idea is , to my mind, debatable)........however with the extra holes in the airbox THAT's how the oil escaped....anyway I am going to invest in a rollover valve before it's back on the snow.........

Tell him to look at this pic and really say the extra area below the original hole let more oil out than it would have unmodified. Oil in that area goes out the original hole just the same as it would after making the hole larger. Don't fall prey to the "blame game". Ask how many Vipers with stock air boxes have had a pool of oil after being on the left side.
Unless of course you did as I have seen and put holes under the shelf, even then I do not see how that alters the fact that the oil is coming out once it is out of the vent.

Buddah, did Todd do the airbox mod?
There is a bunch of drain holes in the airbox stock. Small ones.

Yes must be holes in bottom of an air box to let water and or oil out so it does not build up and splash into engine causing hydro lock (BOOM)

Hi Buddah, if I was supposed to....I am sorry for somehow not getting it done for you, I apologize pal.
On the other hand, I guess the airbox mod isn't what caused this to happen.....cause it wasn't done.

Which brings us immediately back to the pi$$ poor design part.........and I reiterate, no way in A_Very_Warm_Place a guy should lose his sled to a simple rollover.......and without me scrambling like a mad man, it would have been totally gone............
