I ran Semi-Agressive SnoTrackers on my stock Tuners today for 260 miles.
First of all, i was told they don't make an aggressive carbide for the Tuner.
Second of all, OMG! It's like i added power steering.
THE EASIEST SLED TO STEER I'VE EVER RIDDEN!
I loosened up my front rear shock a tad get a bit more bite in high speed corners which helped my ride quality over all.

It's taken me 3 years, but i do not believe i can improve my handling any more on this sled.
I am now just 1 click on shocks between cruising, high speed or bumpy trails. One Click.....

Seems like whatever ski the SnowTrackers go on will work better than anything out there. I have my original set of SnowTrackers on my Doo 5.7Race single keel skis, They must have over 12,000 miles on the them or more, I think this is the 4th sled they have been on and I've only replaced the u-shaped corrector once! Amazing how long they last! Only downfall I see with them is when the snow is deep or soft they like to push, but thats every ski and carbide.

The best part I find with SnowTrackers is you can adjust the suspension for ride and not for steering. They steer easy, don't dart and go where pointed.

My steering felt like the sled was up on a stand. Those were my cousins words.
I loosened up front shock to put MORE ski pressure down. That helped me on bumps because it was stiff to get my others skis OFF the ground.
In very high speed corners it holds the line. When i say "high speed" i'm talking the over 90 stuff here.
Twisty's were soo easy, i hardly have to lean now.

The only reason i didn't go to these from day one is they didn't make them at the time.
They are an absolute PITA to load up on trailers though.
My old Apex has 14,000 miles on those Trackers & this morning it still carves corners.

This is really great to hear regarding this combo of the Tuner III and Semi-aggressive Snow Trackers. I got my snow trackers on Friday, however, didn't have time to put them on before our Friday night ride. Put on 260 miles this weekend on my Curves with Slim Jim Dooley's and sled was on rails all weekend with very light steering. Really loved the setup. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to put on the Tuner III's w/Snow Trackers and give it a try. I probably only have one more weekend left, and I definitely want to try this setup before the season is over. Will be a great comparison to how my sled is setup right now with the Curves.

Thanks for the tips on the Center Spring settings. I'll keep that in mind when I throw the Tuners on. Thanks again for the review and glad these worked for you!

I had the same set up. I was happy with it, but i'm always looking to improve.
And on MY sled, i did just that. Every body will have different results & opinions.
Now when the snow is fresh the Curves are better mostly because they are wider & longer.

I have no doubt when you ride my sled, you're are going to mimic every single adjustment i have made. It's that good!
Unfortunately i may be riding Rangeley or Gaspe next so we'll see what Mr Putz has to say.

Probably done...60 here by friday, and thin...except for some tuning til it's gone. So took off the single skags, curve skis, (square) as it darted bad the other day, and put my slim Jims back on. Not bad...not as sharp as the singles, but on slow corners with crunchy snow, the inside ski will pick up more, instead of steering...that's a big piece of metal making the sled want to 'roll'. Under throttle it will settle down. High speed not bad. Steering is lots easier with no darting, so pretty good comparison. Just ran 5 miles with each, within a half hour so apples to apples. I need a stiffer sway bar as it handles better with the springs soft in front, and lots better with the rebound 5 clicks from full hard, as compared to soft. I think I will get a round set of singles for next year, as I miss that instant turning of the single skag, under ttpical trail conditions. Slim jims great for cruising, slower tight trails and 'averaging' a corner, but single skags lots better when riding aggressively, getting the back end out...and 'rowing' the bars...fun! Just my 4 cents (inflation..lol)

I think it will be done here too in a couple days. Mid 40"s and rain is in our forecast. So today I had the new Mohawks in hand so I pulled the Curves off and installed the Mohawks and took it for it's last rip. Unfortunately the trails where I am at have sucked.....plenty of snow but that snowmobile club needs to be reported to the state for collecting money and not using it to groom.

But I will say the Mohawks felt like heaven!! They floated fantastic across some deep virgin snow staying up top. On the trail there was no darting, turned on a dime and steered very easy. This was in the aggressive mounting plate setting too. I am going to like these! To be fair another member here private messaged me wondering if I was using the Curve mounting rubbers or the stock ski rubbers. I had the Curve ones in which are a bear to get in like they are too thick. He said he has had better handling using the stock Yamaha rubbers on the Curve skis which I never did try.

I had Travis set me up with cat skis and aggressive snow trackers and I am now happy. If anyone is interested in tuners with snowtrackers let me know they are just collecting dust by me.

Which trackers do you have? maybe interested in buying them from you.

Ditch the snow trackers and get the carbides that came stock on the 19 srx and dont look back

Tuner skis are junk on the trail in the lake effect areas with loose snow, they just push in the corners. I rode with tuners the first season and then ditched them.
