Why have we been foresaken?

I wasn't talking being groomed, that's crazy talk. I just meant they're open.

I was thinking of meeting someplace central, maybe Carlsbad Springs at D&S. Do they serve breakfast? Thinking Thur after storm has passed.

lol
I can't ride this week anyways
but since my local cub only wants to groom trail that is "shared", my pass money will be going to another club next year

OSC site shows RED, OSC FaceBook shows RED, OFSC mapbase shows YELLOW..... great organizing skills :dunno::rolleyes:

For sure I'm going on the Quebec side waiting for friends to confirm if they can leave Friday.

A meetup can be interesting if I can be free Thursday for a day ride. Can't help with the restaurant since I have never been. In fact, haven't in much places in the area even if its 10 minutes from my house. lol

I just did some recon and the trails, at from what I could see from the road, look decent for icy and hard packed. All looked flat. Checked at Bank @ Little Ray's, Mitch Owens/John Quinn, Ramsayville, Bank/Antique Store, Parkway/Hiram. Interestingly enough, Parkway heading south looked to have been recently groomed. I think the trails are going to be flat enough to be really ridable with the new snow on top.

And OSC trails are now yellow. I consider the OFSC site map as the official status above anything. FB is junk in my mind and the club's website is still down.

New snow on top is an understatement. 25cm in the area will fall tonight. But you have a Venture made for this kind of ridding. ;)

Maybe but I still feel the bumps! At least with my now modded seat and some Voltaren on the knees, it won't be so bad :D

On the trails right now. Not bad at all! A lot better than after the big storm. Apparently they are grooming and did see evidence of it. KOC is good and most of the trails are really flat. Very nice

Thanks for the update. If your still looking to ride from Ottawa tomorrow pm me. We are 5-6 guys ridding from Carlsbad.

Trails showing GREEN this morn although I have heard some areas have not been groomed

Last night, the only bad trail I saw was from John Quinn heading to Bank St. which wasn't groomed. The pit to Parkway also hadn't been groomed but they could have last night. Regardless, I'll take what I can get! I'm outta here!

We did Carlsbad to Calabogie and back yesterday. 474km. o_O

Trails where almost all groomed. Lovely ride. You would of been in good company Mooseman as we had to Ventures in our group.

We're heading out shortly.. can't decide on leaving Springhill to Osgoode or Carlesbad for lunch so we can pick a direction lol...

Two Apex's and a Viper out playin... be SAFE boys & girls

Yesterday went solo Greely to Carlsbad then up to A trail railway bed, Limoges, casselman, loop down and up to Vars then home. Around 500km. All trails were great except A trail past Bourget which were ungroomed and garbage. I accidentally went into Nation Valley which were closed. Barely any snow with glare ice. No wonder they're closed.

@Phatboyc , I might have met you yesterday. Did you ask for directions in a field near Mitch Owens heading west?
