Just purchased some 100/80 watt xenon healight bulbs for 06 apex RTX. Just wondering if their would be any problems with the install? like harness capabilities.. don't want to start an electrical fire or melt something. Some feedback would be awesome!!

Where did you pick up your Hid's? How much did you pay for them? This is one mod I would like to do to my Apex.

I have the same bulbs in mine. Got them from Royal last season. Super bright and so far they seem good. 200 times better than stock for only 25.00.

I wouldn't run the brites on for long periods. A friend of mine put these in his Viper and it ended up melting the connector at the bulb. Since your not having issues I can only guess it's because he would run his brites all the time.

I only run the brights when needed. Low beam is good most of the time with these

i got the hids at the local grass drags for 80 bucks well worth it in imo. i had silverstars and they did help but one blew out so i figured spend the extra cash and get hids. but if u look on ebay u can get em for a hundred bucks shipped. all u need is an h4 conversion. i would do bi xenon which is hi and lo beam in hid mine is a reguler yellow like stock on lo beam and on high mine is hid. all plug and play. the only thing i had a problam with was having a place to to mount the ballest mine are big ones i would recomend getting a slim ballest also

Do i have to be concerned about running them on high beams? or is this not going to be an issue?

If they draw more current (higher wattage) than stock then you may have issues. I run the Silverstar Ultras which are the same wattage as stock but they put out a much brighter & whiter light than stock. I use the high beams all the time except for when I have to dim for oncoming traffic.
